Brian at Summit Mall Joseph A Banks in Fairlawn

Brian at Summit Mall Joseph A Banks in Fairlawn Ohio was amazing. He helped me find a suit while also assisting a grandfather with his tux fitting. I truly value hard work and keeping a friendly attitude. PS the suits are nice too!! Thanks!

While there are some bad reviews

While there are some bad reviews, my recent online shopping went smoothly. I got two shirts and a sweater on clearance, all for great prices. They arrived fast. I might not pay full price or get a suit online, but they have nice stuff on sale. Even if shirts don't last, for clearance prices, I'm okay. So far, quality seems good, I'll update if they don't last after a few wears and washes.

Avoid the permanent crease option with your pants. Dry cleaners may give you double creases. I asked to remove them, but none succeeded.

I rate them a 2 due to concerns with their return policy. The production-level quality control did not meet my expectations. In my 50 years of shopping, this was a unique experience. I purchased two XL JAB "1905" long sleeve dress/casual shirts on sale. Upon trying them on at home, one felt like a tailored fit, fitting tightly. The second shirt was surprising. Firstly, each sleeve was 2 1/2 inches longer than the other shirt, despite being the same size and brand. Secondly, the tail barely reached my waistline, giving the appearance of a medium shirt with 4XXL sleeves. The brand is made in Honduras, a preference over China for me. Considering my average height and weight (6'2" with no bulging stomach), I find the "2" rating higher than I would have given, but their specials are enticing. The primary issue lies in quality control, prompting me to consider measuring next time before purchasing.

I sent back my purchase well in

I sent back my purchase well in the refund time limit, but it took them 3 weeks to give me back my money. During this time, the item's price went down because of a promotion, so they only gave me back the reduced amount, which is unfair. I won't shop here again. I understand times are tough because of the pandemic, but they should have higher ethical standards than this.

Experiencing a breakdown in customer service can be incredibly frustrating, especially when it involves something as basic as correcting a size error. Despite your diligence in checking and confirming the correct size before placing your order, encountering a discrepancy in the confirmation email is disheartening. The subsequent attempt to rectify the mistake through email and phone calls should have been straightforward, but the lack of response and inability to contact the warehouse is concerning. This indicates a significant flaw in their customer service system, where emails are overlooked, and communication between departments is lacking. Such inefficiencies not only reflect poorly on the company's professionalism but also undermine customer confidence and satisfaction. It's disappointing that despite your efforts to ensure accuracy, the company failed to address the issue promptly and effectively. Moving forward, the company should prioritize streamlining communication channels and improving coordination between departments to prevent similar incidents and enhance the overall customer experience.

My experience with Jos A Bank in the South Park area of Charlotte was severely disappointing. When ordering a custom tux for my wedding, the promised delivery date was not met, and the lack of communication was frustrating. Forced to wear a rented ill-fitting tux on my wedding day, the company's disregard for my important event was evident. Despite a meager discount on the delayed custom tux, the damage was done. Hoping for redemption during my son's prom, the customer service was again subpar, resulting in a poorly chosen tux that led me to seek a refund. Avoid this Jos A Bank location; it offers a nightmarish experience. Buyer beware!

Used to be a solid outfitter. Good suits and shirts for a fair price. But now, the quality is terible. Dress shirts are too thin; suits as well, even Reserve brand (which used to be $1200 - $1350, now $475-$650). I got a dress shirt and tie. Shirt had a rip (they covered it with a sticker, so clearly a return, re-sent) and tie had a snag. Shipping is so slow now (my package sat in a FedEx warehouse 4 days, then 3 more in another, now stuck in the one close to me, still not here). Takes 10+ days to get clothing that’s poor quality or damaged. There are better options, as Jos A Bank has really gone downhill.

The company's decline in quality is evident. The grey jacket I purchased quickly deteriorated, with pilling and loose threads within a month. Over the past 5 years, every item I bought suffered from subpar materials and workmanship. Shirt cuffs fray, buttons detach, and socks develop holes after just a few wears. This stark contrast to their former standards is disheartening. A store that was once my go-to, now, with the nearest one over 60 miles away, reflects a regrettable shift in their operations from a decade ago.

I ordered three dress shirts, size 17 neck, 32/33 sleeve. Checked the sizes and details before confirming. Got an email confirmation with the wrong size for one shirt. Emailed them but got no acknowledgment. Called customer service next morning. They said the warehouse processed the order, waiting to ship. Asked them to correct the size error, but they couldn't. What's the use of a customer service department that can't fix their mistakes? Won't purchase from Bank again.

Preparing for a formal event next week, I purchased a suit vest, and they recommended some pants to match. The website showed they were the same color. But when I got the order confirmation today, one item was bright blue while the other was dark blue.
