    I've been trying to get my groceries delivered from Metro since they switched to Instacart, but it's been a mess. The last four times, my orders showed up way late, like hours after the scheduled time. No apologies, just late. And what's with the substitutions?     Terrible and disaster

    I ordered a hot sub from Publix through Instacart, and it was a disaster. The shopper took forever, over an hour, because he was juggling multiple orders. My sub just sat there in the cart. I texted him, reminding him it was hot and needed to be fresh. By the time he responded, he was already checking out and acted like I was the problem. I asked for it to be remade but got ignored. Tried to get a refund, even appealed, but no luck. Chatted and emailed customer service, but nothing. Didn't even eat the sub; it tasted off and seemed unsafe. Instacart didn’t care at all. I’m done with them.

    I ordered groceries and they gave me a delivery time, but no one had even started shopping for my order 1.5 hours later. Tried reaching customer service, and after a long wait, they gave me a new time, 3 hours later. I accepted, but then an hour into that wait, I got a message saying my order would come tomorrow instead. They offered me a $5 credit for next time, but that didn't help since I needed the food to cook for a special needs home. They really need to ensure someone has picked up and started shopping your order before giving a delivery time, or improve their hiring standards.

    You wouldn’t believe the hassle Instacart’s been giving me lately. Been ordering from them weekly for months, no issues. But the last two days? Total nightmare. Yesterday, they declined my perfectly good credit card. Today, they canceled my order out of nowhere, citing "suspicious activity." Seriously? Then they had the nerve to email me asking for a copy of my driver’s license. Like I'm gonna trust them with that, especially when they’re rumored to keep customer receipts and sell info to data brokers. I was so fed up, I just closed my account. Not dealing with that nonsense anymore.

    I've used InstaCart several times now, and honestly, it's been pretty rough. Most of the time, the shoppers replace items I specifically said not to. I've had stuff go missing, and getting those items sorted out was a nightmare. I finally just gave up on trying to fix it. I gave them another shot on January 11th, hoping it would be different. But it was the worst experience yet. I got charged twice for the same order and nobody's helped me get my money back. It feels really unfair and shady. I'm done with InstaCart, and you can bet my family and friends will hear all about this mess.

    I gotta tell you about the most bizarre commercial I saw during the Oilers game. You know, I really appreciate when companies support my favorite teams, but this ad was something else. It was all about cantaloupes, of all things! Who thought that was a good idea? I mean, I get trying to be different, but this was just plain weird.     I can't believe the terrible service I got. Bought a pack of chicken breasts and they charged me $21 when the price was actually less. I went to customer service to show them the actual price in the store, but they just wouldn't listen. They kept saying it was a discount, but I know it wasn't. To make things worse, they added taxes on the chicken, which shouldn't be taxed in Ontario. I tried explaining this to them, but they refused to admit any mistake. Frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not shopping here again. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

    Save yourself the trouble and find another service

    I tried out this Instacart app hoping it would make my grocery shopping easier, but boy was I wrong. First off, the customer support is a nightmare. They’re all based in India and it’s super hard to communicate with them in English. Every time I had an issue, they couldn’t fix it. The management of the app is just as bad. I spent two weeks trying to get help from them, but no one ever got back to me. It was so frustrating. I feel like I just wasted my time. Definitely don’t bother with this app, it’s not worth the headache. Save yourself the trouble and find another service.

    I usually don't have any issues with Instacart's delivery and service. But recently, I ordered water from Sam's Club. The price was $4.85 for 40 bottles, but Instacart charged me over $8. I ordered three cartons, so it really added up. Same thing happened with the potatoes, they cost way more than if I bought them directly from Sam's. The service itself was smooth, and I was happy with that, but when I saw the prices, I felt a bit ripped off. Things are expensive enough as it is. I get that there's a fee for the convenience, but nearly double the price seems excessive.

    I had the worst experience with this app's customer service. I got an order with spoiled meat and melted ice cream. When I reported it, they asked for pictures, which I sent. They said they'd escalate the issue but didn't contact me for a week. Then, they asked for more pictures. By then, I'd already thrown out the bad food. They said, "Sorry, nothing we can do!" I demanded a refund, but after another few days, they refused. No options to return the items or even a receipt to take it back. Just "sorry, pay for rotten food!" I’ll never use their service again. BEWARE!!!

    So, you know Instacart, right? I was just checking my bank account and there's this charge for $127.00 from them. Weird thing is, I haven't ordered anything since, like, forever. Anyway, I dialed up their corporate office in San Francisco, and this girl picks up. She instantly knew about the charge on my account without me even explaining. She was like, "I'll fix this right away." Kinda freaky, huh? Makes you wonder if she was behind it or something. Lucky I caught it before things got worse. Keep an eye on your statements, folks. You never know what might pop up.

    I had the most frustrating experience with driver support from this company. Imagine needing help and only being able to text, waiting ages for each response. The agents seem to be trained to avoid paying you what you’re owed, and half the time, they don’t even understand what you’re saying. It felt like they were just making stuff up. When I called them out, they just transferred me around. And if you try calling, it’s only for customers, so no help there either.     Honestly, I'm super frustrated with this company. I ordered something and out of nowhere, they slapped me with a $110 charge for a year membership I never even wanted. Tried to get it sorted but after talking to two different people for 45 minutes, they just kept repeating how much they value me as a customer. Really? If they valued me, they would fix their mistake instead of just repeating the same line. Asked to speak to a supervisor but both reps refused to connect me. It's clear they don't actually care about their customers. Total waste of time and money.

    You won't believe what happened when I used Instacart. I placed my second order under their "3 orders free" promo and got hit with a $99 annual fee. Tried to get it sorted with their support, but they refused to refund me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the rep hung up! So frustrating. I reached out to my bank, and suddenly Instacart emails me saying they'll refund the money. It's unbelievable how they operate like this and still stay in business. I'll never use Instacart again and definitely won't recommend it to anyone. Total nightmare experience.

    I decided to give Instacart a try, thinking it'd be convenient. Boy, was I wrong. I bought Nexium, which was supposed to be $32 with a $4 discount. When I checked my bill, they charged me $43.43 for it. The rest of my order was just some basic food items, nothing fancy. I thought maybe I made a mistake, but nope, they definitely upcharge. I feel so ripped off. To top it off, they charged me $21.57 for another part of my order. It’s ridiculous. This was my first time using Instacart and it'll definitely be my last. I can't trust them with my money again.

    I had the worst experience with their driver support. Their automated system had me on hold for hours, and my phone battery died before I could speak to an actual person. It's so frustrating when you need help and there's just no alternative way to get support. If this is how they treat their drivers, I dread to think how they handle customer issues.     I ordered from this place and it was a total mess. They gave me three different delivery times and my food just sat there for an hour. When I tried to cancel and get a refund, they wouldn’t let me, even though no one had picked up my order. As a Disabled Air Force Desert Storm Veteran, this was just unacceptable. I've been using them for food delivery for over two years, but after this, never again. They've lost my business for good, and I’ll make sure to tell everyone at the VFW not to use them either. This was beyond frustrating and disappointing.

    Frustrated with the whole experience

    I used InstaCart recently, thinking it would be super convenient, but boy was I wrong. Three times they told me my driver was on the way, but then 30 minutes later, they’d change it to say it'll be another 2 or 3 hours. And then, out of nowhere, they say, "See you tomorrow between 7 and 9 am." Like, seriously? If I have to wait until the next day, I might as well just go out and get the groceries myself. What’s the point of using a delivery service if they can’t even deliver on time? I’m really disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience.

    Working with Instacart has been a big disappointment. They mess with shoppers' earnings. I took screenshots showing I earned $25.51 for a morning trip and another $16 for an evening gig, including a $1 tip. When I talked to the chat rep, he didn’t even look into it properly. He just said my tip would appear, but the numbers didn’t match up at all. I showed them proof with my screenshots, but they still didn’t fix it. It feels like Instacart is cheating shoppers out of their money. We end up making way less than minimum wage. Not worth the effort.

    I decided to give Instacart another chance for grocery delivery after a break, but the last two orders were just awful. The products were either bad quality or items I paid for were missing. And trying to get a hold of customer service? Impossible. Their website is a mess with links that don’t even work. I sent a clear photo from the shopper showing a large box wasn’t delivered, but they keep rejecting my refund request. Honestly, it’s just unacceptable. I’ve had enough and won't be using Instacart anymore. Deleted the app from my phone already.

    I went to get some dog food from the store because the website said they had a bunch. When I got there, nothing, shelves were empty. The Instacart driver replaced it with something else. Then I got a message from Instacart saying they gave me a $10 credit to use anywhere. Tried using it, but it never showed up in my account. I sent a help request but never heard back from them. Really frustrating. First time using Instacart and probably the last. Feels like they don't care about fixing things when they mess up. Just a bad experience overall.

    Tried this app for the first time and it was a total mess. Ordered two items, got a message saying the shopping was done. Then suddenly, a new shopper's name appeared, claiming the store was out of my stuff. Like, what?? The new shopper also mentioned the store closed at 8, but they told me this at 7:30. Why does that even matter? The shopper changed, the delivery time changed, and in the end, I had to cancel everything. Such a waste of time! If they charge my card, I’m going to lose it! Not using this app again, total garbage experience.

    I was so annoyed with this delivery. I got a notification asking to rate my order, but I hadn't received anything. When I messaged the shopper, she realized she delivered it to the wrong place and then just ended the chat. Seriously? I tried to get help through three different chats, a call to Instacart, and even talking to a supervisor. Guess what? Nothing happened. They gave me a form and said someone would follow up in 48 hours. Like, is this even legal? Now, checking online, I see thousands of one-star reviews. This is ridiculous.

    I decided to try Instacart again after a while, but it was a disaster. I specifically asked for no replacements, yet my shopper thought aluminum foil was a good substitute for toilet paper. To make things worse, he refused to refund the foil. Instacart used to be decent, but now they buy stuff you didn't order and won't give your money back. I don’t see them staying in business long with this kind of service. Honestly, Walmart+ has been way better for me. It’s frustrating when you can’t even trust a service to get basic things right.
