    My nightmare

Let me tell you about my nightmare with this company. They're all about squeezing every penny out of you and forgetting what customer service even means. They charged me way more than they should have for a purchase, and despite my attempts to get my money back, they were completely dismissive. I tried talking to two different employees, hoping someone would help, but they just didn’t care. They had no interest in fixing the issue even though the sale was clearly there. It's like they don’t even know what customer service is! Honestly, beware of them—they’ll take your money without blinking. I wouldn’t suggest anyone use their services. Look them up first or you might just regret it.

    So, I got this Instacart

So, I got this Instacart debit card in the mail yesterday, but it wasn’t even in my name—it was for someone named Aniyah Credle. The address was right, but I have no idea who this person is. I called customer service and first talked to a woman with a thick accent, then a guy who claimed he was in Atlanta. He didn't seem to know what he was doing and wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor. It was frustrating trying to understand him and he kept asking for my address without the city, state, or zip. I had to spell everything out for him. The whole experience was a nightmare. I will never use Instacart again and I demand my address be removed from their system. This feels like fraud!

    I've been using this app

I've been using this app for about a year, and it's been a rollercoaster. Initially, I got hooked by a promo, offering a yearly membership for just $29.99. But a week after signing up, they canceled it out of nowhere, and suddenly, the cost shot up to $99.99. Felt like a scam, losing $70 just like that. Fast forward to now, I'm battling a cold and ordered some over-the-counter meds through the app. None were prescription meds, but they insisted on checking my ID, which was expired. The driver was super understanding, but customer service? Not so much. They wouldn't budge and release my order, even though it was paid for the night before. Frustrating doesn’t even cover it!

    Beware

Yesterday, I ordered some men's t-shirts. I tried to select the size but the app just ignored me. The shopper picked whatever size and checked out. I messaged him, but no reply. When the shirts arrived, they were the wrong size. Too small, can't wear them. Contacted Instacart for a refund or credit, they gave me a credit. But later they said no credit, and sent me a link to appeal. Instacart is so unreliable. They may or may not give you a credit for messed-up orders, and if they do, it might disappear. Also, had a weird experience with a delivery guy who forced my door open. Told Instacart many times, but they keep assigning him. I don't feel safe. Done with Instacart.

    I can't believe how bad

I can't believe how bad my experience with Instacart has been. I signed up for their premium service, thinking I'd get top-notch support and convenience. Instead, they've locked me out of my account for months over a charge they messed up. It didn't even show up as "Instacart" on my bank statement, so I disputed it, thinking it was fraud. After sending them all the documents they asked for, they still haven't fixed it. Their customer support is a joke—I've sent countless emails and gotten no response. It's like they don't care at all. They even asked for more money to fix their mistake. This company is a nightmare. Avoid them if you value your time and money.

    I remember when Instacart was

I remember when Instacart was a real lifesaver, but now it's just disappointing. I pay a premium for their service, including the extra for Priority delivery, and it's supposed to make things smoother, right? But the shoppers don’t seem to care about what they pick. It’s like they just grab whatever’s closest. More often than not, they refund items or pick replacements that don't even match what I ordered. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re paying top dollar. It's not what it used to be, and I'm just waiting for someone else to step up and offer a better experience. Instacart really needs to step up their game or they're gonna lose loyal customers like me.

    A terrible experience

I recently had a terrible experience ordering food through the Instacart app. I got my meal and it was a disaster – the meat was burnt outside and raw inside, couldn't even eat it. Tried to get help from Instacart, but they just passed the buck to Uber Eats. Apparently, Instacart places restaurant orders through Uber Eats without telling you. So when something goes wrong, you’re stuck in a blame game. Instacart said they couldn’t help and Uber Eats claimed I didn’t order from them. It’s a complete mess. Instacart is unreliable for restaurant food. Their customer service is a joke, and you end up with no solution. Avoid ordering restaurant food on Instacart.

    I've been using Instacart regularly

I've been using Instacart regularly, and it's been a rollercoaster. The app has some serious issues; the selfie identification glitch has been a headache for ages. Trying to reach customer service is like pulling teeth—waiting forever just to get disconnected. And as for the shoppers, it’s frustrating to see them struggling with low batch pay. I've noticed batches for as low as $4 or $5, and that's not fair for the effort they put in. The mileage adds up too, especially when they have to drive on rough roads. It's disappointing to see a big company like this not addressing these issues. It feels like they're not valuing either the shoppers or the customers.

    From January to April 2025,

From January to April 2025, Instacart's been messing up my deliveries, sending my groceries to the wrong place six times! The last straw was when they dropped my order at an abandoned house. Stop and Shop was great, trying to fix the mess, but Instacart expected me to retrieve it myself after I paid them to deliver to my address. I canceled and got a credit from S&S. A few days later, my mailman complained about a food order blocking my path—my groceries had been baking in the sun for days! Instacart wouldn’t pick it up. I've tried to fix these issues before, but their service and attitude are terrible. How do they stay in business with such poor service?

    It's frustrating

So, I've been using this delivery service, and it's been a nightmare. They keep dropping my stuff at the wrong address, and then they bombard me with calls and texts to take packages that aren’t even mine. It's worrying, especially since I'm in NYC where robberies are common. Customer service? Forget it. They're useless—just keep transferring me from one person to another without solving anything. I ended up losing all the money I spent on groceries, and someone else is enjoying them. The photo they showed me of the delivery spot doesn’t even match my door. It's frustrating when you rely on these services for essentials and they just mess it up so badly.

    Thanksgiving was a disaster this

Thanksgiving was a disaster this year. I ordered a turkey and all the sides from Fred Meyers via Instacart, scheduled for delivery at 8:45 a.m. By 9:30, my anxiety was through the roof. The delivery, handled by Vanessa, was canceled, yet they had the nerve to mark it as delivered and charged my card. I was supposed to dine elsewhere, but plans fell through, so this order was crucial. Multiple calls to fix it went nowhere. Ended up with no turkey and a ruined day. Tried to salvage it by shopping in-store, but no turkeys left. Just threw in the towel. Instacart and Fred Meyers really let me down. Never using them again. Thanks for ruining Thanksgiving.

    Instacart is a total scam

So, I decided to give Instacart a shot and it was a disaster. First off, they charged me way more than I expected—like, more than my actual purchase. Then, they signed me up for some service I didn't even agree to. Next thing I know, my account's overdrafted for money I didn't authorize. When I called them, I got super frustrated. They said they'd release my money but guess what? It didn't happen right away. Apparently, it’s gonna take 5-10 business days to get my money back. How does it take them seconds to take my money but days to return it? I’m contacting my lawyer and filing a lawsuit because this is just ridiculous. Instacart is a total scam.

    Horrible

Let me tell you about my experience with the customer service for this app. If there’s an issue at the store, they fix it, no problem. But dealing with the app? Prepare yourself for a headache. The customer service seems to be outsourced and while I don’t mind that, the folks I’ve talked to are just not helpful. They don't listen or seem to care at all. They just repeat the same useless info over and over. It feels like they don't understand why you're calling, and trying to explain anything further is pointless. You'll end up more frustrated than before and probably just go to the store yourself. It’s like talking to a brick wall, seriously.

    I wouldn't recommend this service

I thought I was getting the hang of online shopping, but this experience threw me off completely. I placed an order, checked the total cost, and hit submit—only to find surprise items added later. It was like they magically appeared in my cart, no rhyme or reason. Called customer service, hoping for some help. Instead, spent nearly an hour on the phone, just to be told it was my mistake, as if I had somehow forgotten what I ordered. On top of that, they swapped out items for pricier ones without even asking. Felt completely gaslighted by the whole ordeal. Honestly, this was the last straw for me; I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

    I tried to place

I tried to place a big order, around $200 worth of stuff, around 5pm. Usually, they always deliver my orders without me having to specify anything. This time, though, they confirmed it for pickup. I quickly messaged them saying I expected delivery, just like my previous 5 orders. Turns out, they said I couldn't change it from pickup to delivery. The only option was to cancel and start all over again for delivery. Seriously?! After spending so much time picking out everything, there’s no way I’m doing that again. It's frustrating and honestly not worth the hassle, extra fees, and tips. It's nothing like the smooth experience with Amazon.

    Support is a mess

I've been with Instacart for ages now, mostly because it's a nice way to earn some extra cash. But, wow, when you need their support, it's like talking to a wall. The app let me grab a batch, then just froze up—couldn't start it, couldn't cancel it. Supposedly, it wouldn’t affect my stats, but guess what? It did. I took a screenshot and then spent over an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone, only to get hung up on. Frustrated, I tried social media, and within minutes, someone responded. Thought I finally got lucky, but ended up talking to myself in the DMs. Good thing it wasn't an emergency, because their support is a mess.

I’ve been using Instacart for quite some time now, but recently things have just gone downhill. Today was the last straw. I had clear instructions in my delivery notes: "DO NOT LEAVE OUTSIDE IN THE COLD." What do you think happened? The driver didn’t even bother to read my notes, ring the bell, or take a photo. I always track the drivers via GPS, so I knew exactly when they arrived. The person left my groceries outside, including two 24-packs of water. I live on the third floor, and it’s a struggle to bring those up. Luckily, my neighbors were kind enough to help. With everything going on these days, this is the last thing I need.

I tried ordering groceries from Wegmans via Instacart, and it was a disaster. I spent $200 on stuff I never got. At first, I thought maybe there was a mix-up with the delivery, so I called them. Their advice? "Check around the neighborhood." I did, but nothing. Called them again, and they promised delivery in 24 hours. Well, it's been way over that, 36 hours to be exact, and there's still no groceries or refund. I even asked to talk to a supervisor but got zero response. It's just frustrating dealing with such poor customer service. Honestly, I'd steer clear of Instacart if you don't want your money wasted and patience tested.

I had a frustrating experience with this company’s customer service. Initially, they told me it would take 5 to 10 business days to refund my money. I even took a screenshot. But two weeks later, when I called again, they repeated the same timeframe. Now, it's been a month, and they suddenly claim the grace period ended and refuse to return my money. Thankfully, I had the screenshot to back me up. Their reps just read off a script and don’t actually listen or try to help. It feels like they're just trying to get rid of you. I can't recommend this place to anyone. Even the IRS has better service. Wish I could give zero stars.

I tried using Instacart the other day, and it was a complete mess. Almost all of my order was out of stock, and I was left with just a single pound of burger—definitely not worth the tip I had planned. The most frustrating part? Trying to close my account was like running through a maze. They told me only I could close it, but then made it nearly impossible to do so. I spent hours trying to figure it out, and it's still open. Plus, they expect me to use an app when my vision isn't great. It's like they're ignoring people who can't or don't want to use apps. This service is a disaster

Instacart, man, where do I even start? This service is a disaster. They sneak in extra charges, and their gift card system is just plain confusing. Not to mention, their customer service is practically non-existent. I feel like I've been scammed more times than I can count, especially with their so-called rewards on Capital One Shopping. They promise you these great deals, but when it comes time to cash in, there's always some excuse why you can't get what's owed. It's beyond frustrating. I've learned my lesson and won't be touching this app again. If you're thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and steer clear.

    I can't believe what happened

I can't believe what happened with Instacart. I joined on December 31, 2024, and paid $99 for a whole year. Today, April 10, 2024, I tried to place an order and found out my account was canceled the same day I signed up! They didn't even refund me. Customer service said that once you place an order with the membership, there’s no refund. So, I basically paid $99 for just one day. It's absurd! Instacart seems more interested in taking your money and then canceling your account without a proper explanation. I wish I could post pictures of the transaction and my chat with customer service to show everyone what happened.

I went through a nightmare trying to get help with my account. It was like talking to a brick wall—no one cared. I had some money in there, and poof, it vanished! The app said it was transferred, but where? To whom? Nobody would tell me anything, just kept saying to contact my bank. Funny thing is, I don't even have a bank linked up! It's frustrating

So, picture this: I ordered groceries for my family and waited patiently for them to arrive. The driver, Tommie, claimed he left the stuff by the side of my house, but here's the kicker—I asked him what color my house was, and he stayed silent, just repeating he couldn't deliver to the wrong address. What does that even mean? It felt like he was trying to dodge the question. Now, my kids and I are without our groceries. Instacart's got me jumping through hoops just to get my money back. It's frustrating, feels like I'm being robbed. I hope they sort this out soon because this experience has been a real headache.

So, I had a horrible experience with this service. I placed an order with high hopes, but it turned into a nightmare. The shopper managed to mess up everything - wrong items, missing items, duplicates, and they were hours late. To top it off, they left my bags outside unattended. I wasted hours trying to get this sorted, but no luck. Customer service promised a full refund, but then changed their tune. They refunded a fraction, and I won't see that money for days. We were so excited for a special date night at home after ages. We chose a lovely restaurant and ordered through Uber Eats. Everything seemed fine until our food ended up at the wrong address. Tried fixing it on the app, but no luck. Ended up having to cancel the order and got hit with a $30 fee. Contacted customer service, got bounced from Instacart to Uber Eats, and then our account was blocked! No food, lost money, and a ruined evening. We were so looking forward to this night. Really hope they improve their service and refund us for the meal we never got. Just wanted a nice, easy night together.

They promised delivery between 10:55 and 12:00 yesterday, but nada. They threw a measly $5 credit my way, like that would make up for the hassle. I tried using this service to get my groceries, but it was such a hassle. The shopper began my order and then just stopped without any reason. When I reached out to customer service, they were no help at all, just gave me some pre-written responses that didn’t address my issue. I thought placing a priority order would mean faster service, but it meant nothing. The shopper even told me the grocery store system was down, but when I called the store, they said everything was working fine. It felt like they were just making excuses.
