    I hit a snag

    I tried to buy FlexiCare for my Insta360 camera, but hit a snag. Turns out, you can only get it within 15 days of activation - something they didn't make clear in their ads. I was told I could get a voucher if I couldn't link the camera to FlexiCare. Later, they changed their tune and said I wasn't eligible. I complained about the confusing info and false advertising. Insta360 admitted the mix-up but only offered a £20 coupon. Considering shipping is £13, that leaves just £7. It's disappointing because the terms were so unclear and I feel tricked. I wouldn't recommend this company because of their poor service and misleading ads.

After a pretty long wait of 20 minutes, I managed to get through to an agent, who advised me to send an email. But then, in the middle of our conversation, the agent just went silent. I waited for over an hour, hoping to hear back, but nothing came through. What’s even more confusing is that both the bot and the website suggest chatting with an agent if your order’s shipped but hasn’t arrived yet. It's frustrating when the advice doesn't match up. Feeling really stuck with nowhere to turn for help.

    I ordered from Insta360 and it was a total nightmare. My order disappeared into thin air, and after waiting ages, I got a vague message saying it would be shipped soon. Then, out of nowhere, they said they needed more time to sort things out. Talk about mixed signals! It felt like they were just stringing me along with no real plan. The whole experience was super confusing and really frustrating. I honestly felt like they didn't care about me as a customer at all.     I ordered from their website thinking it would be easy. But soon after, I realized it would take 10 days to arrive, and I was moving in 5 days. I quickly contacted their customer service to cancel. HIKARI replied, asking why I wanted to cancel just hours later. Despite my quick request, I got an email 12 hours later saying the item had already shipped. Then, another email from HIKARI, 5 hours later, apologized but said it was too late. When I asked for the return address, they ignored me for 3 days. Turns out, the return address is in Hong Kong. Seriously, avoid these folks. Shop somewhere else.

    I had the worst experience

    I had the worst experience with this company. Ordered the GO 3S camera and they sent me the GO 3W instead. Took them 10 days to deliver the wrong item. I immediately asked for a refund, and they tried to bribe me with $10 to keep the wrong camera. When I refused, they told me to send it back to Hong Kong within 7 days. I mentioned that consumer law gives me 14 days and that it’s their mistake, not mine. I had to open a case with PayPal before they finally offered a return label for Germany and the USA. Seriously, avoid buying directly from them. Stick to UK physical stores or trusted proxies.

    Got the insta360 X5 with

    Got the insta360 X5 with all the genuine accessories as a birthday surprise. Took it for a spin on my bike, hitting some easy off-road paths. Within 15 minutes, the selfie stick just gave up, sending my brand-new X5 tumbling to the ground and scratching both lenses. Reached out to customer support, and they quickly informed me that the selfie stick isn't designed for any action activities. So here I am, with an "action" camera that can't handle action. It's kinda disappointing, to be honest. Thought it would be more robust. If you’re planning to go off-road, maybe reconsider the accessories.

    I was really excited about the Insta360 X4 because of its GPS Stats feature. Adding latitude and longitude coordinates to my videos was a game-changer for my travel vlogs. But out of nowhere, they just removed it a few months ago. No warning, no replacement feature, nothing. It’s frustrating because that was a big reason I chose this camera. Now it feels like I'm stuck with something that doesn’t fully deliver on what was promised. And trying to get help? Forget it, the support feels pretty much non-existent.     I got the Insta 360 Go 3 S because I was told it could be used without the app, only needing it for file transfers. But when I got it, the camera was stained and wouldn’t work unless the app was activated. I tried contacting customer service, but no response at all. I was thinking about getting the two-year warranty, but glad I didn't. Now, I just want to return this product. It's really annoying that they force you to use an app that doesn't even seem necessary. Please respond to my emails so I can get a refund and return this camera.

    I bought this 3 suction car mount and was super excited to use it. But one of the suction cups failed while I was driving slowly. I called their customer service and sent all the pictures and videos they asked for. They promised me a response within 24 to 48 hours from their technical team, but it's been four weeks now, and still nothing. It's really frustrating because I spent $450 on this, and it feels like money down the drain. Their customer service is just terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

    Ordered from the official Insta360 site, package arrived super quick, like 48 hours. But, it doesn’t work with my computer, which was a huge letdown. Battery life is also a joke; it runs out just as fast as my old £50 GoPro. And this one cost me £349! Tried to return it, but they gave me some sketchy address in Hong Kong and said I have to pay for shipping. Doesn't even seem like a legit place. Now I’m stuck with an expensive paperweight and worried I won’t see my money again. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

They push you to give a reason, saying they'll process the refund in 2 days if you don't respond. I replied quickly, within 20 minutes, but then they ignored me for another full day. It's just frustrating and unprofessional. Seriously, save yourself the headache and stay away from this site. It's not worth the hassle.

    Ordered a bunch of stuff from Insta360 and they forgot to include a "free" item they promised. Spent weeks emailing back and forth with customer service, who took forever to respond. They finally said they'd refund my credit card for the missing item, but guess what? No refund ever showed up. Total waste of time and effort.     I ordered something from this company and it arrived broken. I reached out on February 24th, 2025, and they sent a ton of emails back and forth. It took forever to get someone to actually pick up the broken product. We're talking until April 7th, 2025! When they finally got it, they said it was too late to do anything, even though I had contacted them well before. Their customer service was terrible. Definitely wouldn't recommend ordering directly from them.

    Save yourself from them

    I recently picked up the Insta360 One X3, thinking it would blow my smartphone out of the water. But man, was I wrong! The video quality was so disappointing – even my ancient Nokia did better. I tried everything, 5.7K/30FPS, 100 Mbps bitrate, HDR on a perfect sunny day, but it still looked terrible. Honestly, I regret spending my money on this. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this one.
