We just got back from an amazing trip with Inca Expert Travel, and we’re really happy we picked them! From beginning to end, everything went smooth and felt made just for us. Our guides were definitely one of the best parts. In the Amazon, our private guide was awesome—he’s been doing this for 20 years and still got really excited showing us animals. Every night, he went over the next day's plan so we knew exactly what to expect. We also liked chatting with the bar staff. Even though there were language differences with other guests, having our own guide made the trip easy and personal. Our guide in Cusco and the Sacred Valley was truly great. We liked having the same guide both days—it helped everything feel connected. He knew so much about Incan history, archaeology, and stories. We also talked a lot about our families and cultures, and he gave us handmade leather gifts. That kind of personal attention is rare. Highly recommend! Our guide at Machu Picchu showed up about 15 minutes late, but the agency kept us updated. He was fun, interesting, and full of facts, plus we got some awesome photos thanks to him. All drivers were professional and on time—we really liked having separate drivers and guides. The Vistadome train was a fun one-time thing—liked the idea, but the back car was noisy. The return trip in the front seats was much better! Hotels: Lima Hotel: Simple but handy and friendly. Amazon lodge: Friendly staff and well managed. You should know what to expect—no TVs or flushing toilet paper, but it was clean and the food was great. Cusco hotel: One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. Great service and breakfast! Aguas Calientes hotel: Beautiful with excellent service. Next time, we’d ask for a higher floor—our ground-floor room felt a bit too open. Finally, working with our travel advisor Max was easy and pleasant. Every detail was taken care of, and replies were always fast. As frequent travelers, this was our first time using a service like this—and we’d definitely do it again. Thank you, Inca Expert, for a well organized and unforgettable trip!

A truly amazing experience!

A truly amazing experience! Our week in Peru was fantastic, all thanks to Leila and Inca Expert. As soon as we arrived in Cusco, Carolin and Laura were there to meet us. They greeted us warmly and gave us our tickets and tour information. We were quickly taken to the beautiful Tambo del Inka hotel in the Sacred Valley. It was a smart choice to add an extra day for acclimatization before heading to Machu Picchu. Fabricio, our guide for Moray and Maras, was fantastic with an enormous amount of knowledge. We learned a lot about the Incan culture and history with him in the Sacred Valley and Cusco. The hotels were amazing, especially Tambo del Inka, with spacious rooms and a calm atmosphere by the Urubamba River. Our transport to Ollantaytambo got us to the train station with plenty of time, and the scenic Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes was a real treat. The brunch and entertainment were enjoyable. Silvio, our Belmond Machu Picchu guide, took us on a custom tour instead of a standard circuit, which made the day even more spectacular! At Sanctuary Lodge and on the Hiram Bingham train, we truly felt like VIPs the whole time. The staff and food were amazing, and they even arranged a lovely birthday surprise for my husband. The Palacio Del Inka Hotel in Cusco was also very nice, right in the center, making it easy to explore on foot. Our trip to Peru was such a great experience, thanks to Inca Expert Travel, and we appreciate all the efforts of Leila and the team. Highly recommend their services.

I used IncaExpert for the middle 8 days

I used IncaExpert for the middle 8 days of my 17-day Peru trip, which was my first time there. My itinerary covered Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Maximiliano, my advisor, gave useful phone advice before the trip, especially regarding altitude sickness risks in Colca Canyon and Cusco (I took medication and had no major issues, just some shortness of breath when climbing). It was nice to know that IncaExpert had me covered 24/7 in case of any problems. The private and small group tours they arranged had great local guides, and the largest group I was in had just five people. The Cusco tour included some fascinating nearby Inca ruins. In Arequipa, Maximiliano suggested a tour of a quarry that produced the white silla stone blocks, which was a great recommendation. Everything ran on time, including airport transfers and tours. The more complex logistics for getting from Cusco to Machu Picchu through the Sacred Valley were explained clearly to me in Cusco, which was helpful. I booked the internal flights through LATAM and one hotel on my own. Although it's possible to save money by handling everything online, it’s not always easy to find quality tour guides and reliable transportation. Overall, I had a smooth, enjoyable trip and can recommend IncaExpert for your Peru travels. (I believe Peru for Less is part of the same company, but they don't use 4-star hotels).

My first experience traveling with a tour company was really great, so I'd definitely do it again! Maria Jose and the Inca Expert Travel team were very patient and helpful during the planning stage, meeting our requests and deadlines, and addressing all our questions. As our trip approached, Maria Jose kept us well-informed and ensured we had all the necessary details. We also found the advice on adjusting to Cusco's high altitude very useful. Having no activities on the first day was crucial for us to rest and adapt. Every transfer, from the airport to the hotel and from tour to tour, was managed with care. Everyone was polite, punctual, and provided all the needed information for our next adventure. The lodgings in Lima, Cusco, and Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) were perfect, with breakfast provided even at early hours before tours. I strongly suggest Inca Experts and their team for any trip to Peru!

Our journey to Sacred Valley was amazing. Sylvia organized our drivers, hotels, and tour guides very well, making our visits to all sites easy. We spent 3 days with Hugo, our guide in Cusco & Sacred Valley. His knowledge of history and new studies on the Inca civilization was wonderful. We enjoyed his company, his friendly attitude, flexibility while we toured, and how he paid attention to what we needed. Peter was our guide for Machu Picchu. His understanding of the site was impressive. He answered all our questions. Once again, the travel by cars, buses, and trains was smooth in timing. Peter took care of us and made sure we had a great lunch after our long tour. He walked us back to the train after lunch, leaving nothing to chance. Without a doubt, we recommend Inca Experts to help with your trip and would choose them again. Hugo and Peter were great tour guides.

Great trip!

Great trip! Inca Expert Travel really made our first international journey as a married couple fantastic. Maria was awesome to work with! She helped us pick the best itinerary for what we wanted to do. We went to Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Maras and Moray, Machu Picchu, and hiked Machu Picchu Mountain. All our tours were private, and our guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating. Fabrizio, our guide in Cusco, was awesome! One day, we got stuck in Miraflores because of a marathon, but our driver handled it amazingly and got us to the airport on time. And on our last day, we overslept, but our driver waited for us! We were an hour late, but they didn't leave us! Someone from the company was always available if we needed help. I really recommend Inca Expert Travel and Maria!

Our honeymoon with Inca Expert Travel in Peru & Brazil was just right. The guides and drivers were always punctual. They were all very knowledgeable and passionate. We loved our guide and driver in Rio, Gen and Antonio. The hotels were all nice. Our favorite was Lizzy Wasi Urubamba in Sacred Valley. The service was great, rooms and community space were cute, and we enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant many times. It was handy that breakfast was included at all hotels booked by Inca Expert - that was a must before all the activities. We felt safe with the guides, drivers, and where we stayed in each city. Leila's itinerary from Inca Expert was perfect for us. It was a lovely trip that we will cherish in our hearts! Thanks for arranging it, Inca Expert & Leila!

I arranged my journey through Inca Travel Expert for a milestone 50th birthday adventure with my twin sister. The process was seamless, allowing us to select destinations while receiving excellent accommodation options. The open-air eco lodge was a standout recommendation for its sensory experiences. Our travels within the country were efficiently managed, offering insights into local transportation. While Machu Picchu was spiritually moving, the Amazon rainforest stole the spotlight. The guide there was seasoned, capturing incredible wildlife moments. Culinary experiences were delightful, especially considering my dietary restrictions. Despite a less experienced guide at Machu Picchu, Inca Travel Expert orchestrated a memorable and well-prepared overall experience.

Since coming back, we’ve been telling our family and friends about Inca Travel Experts. On a scale of 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10, their service was far above what we imagined. Maria Jose is wonderful. We’ve traveled a lot, and many of our trips were self-planned and self-guided. But for Machu Picchu, we felt we needed help from a local travel agency to make our journey truly special. The staff, the guides, the drivers, and the WhatsApp support team were all amazing. Everyone was very professional. The vehicles and drivers were of high quality. All our guides were knowledgeable and willing to adjust to our personal preferences. This whole trip was unforgettable and filled with lifetime memories, and the best part was we had absolutely NO related stress at all.

We strongly recomend Inca Expert Travel! Our journey took us across 3 countries and had lots of tours and trips that needed many transfers. Everything that Inca Experts handled went really well. We were met at every airport or train stop with what we needed, and we were happy with how nice the hotels and activities were! Like, our food tour in Lima turned out amazing, same as the wine tours in Chile, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu visits, the cruise to Magdalena Island, seeing Serrano and Perito Moreno Glaciers, getting amazed by Torres del Paine National Park and Iguazu Falls! Even the Tango Show and meal in Buenos Aires was better than we thought! We would do the same trip again and pick this tour company once more!

The trip was well organized, we didnt have to worry about any details related to travel, drivers, guides, locations. The guides spoke good english and kept with our pace. It was a seamless experience.The hotels were very good- only wish I had spent more time enjoying them. Felt like I rushed thru this trip. I took back with me a great experience of Peru and hope to return soon to indulge some more in the awesome food and the surroundings. My regrets are- 1- not doing the Baby Inca trail -Day hike to Machu Picchu 2- not going to the rainforest side of Peru. 3- would like to explore some more of the beautiful surroundings and some Short treks. All in all it was a memorable trip!!

Our family had a great time with all the travel arrangements, from drivers picking us up to the private tour guides. Some of the guides were more engaging than others. We spent half a day with the Andes Women, and they showed us how to make friendship bracelets and shared their culture and food. I ended up buying a few souvenirs from them. The Amazon was also a highlight, despite the heavy mosquitos. My oldest son got 16 bites even though we used a lot of deet. The food in the Amazon actually turned out to be much better than the two hotels we stayed at. We traveled by planes, trains, boats, and cars on this trip. We would definitely recommend this agency to our friends and family.

I gave him some tricky requests here and there, but none of them affected how well everything went. I mean, perfect down to every driver and guide meeting me exactly when they promised. Everything Maximilian and Inca Expert Travel arranged for my first trip to Peru was great! All my guides were amazing, drivers were polite and careful, and I really liked the safety talk from the woman who greeted me when I arrived in Peru. It was flawless. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. It was all amazing!

We visited Peru from October 10-18, 2024. Debbie from INCA Expert Travel did a good job for our journey. She gave great advice on hotels and helped create our itinerary. Every part was well-organized and we got a printed schedule and tickets. All the events went as planned, and the INCA Expert Travel staff we met were nice, friendly, and professional. I would gladly suggest them to anyone wanting to go to Peru. When booking online, it’s normal to have doubts about what you'll receive. Everything Debbie set up went flwalessly.

Although a lengthy van ride over challenging roads posed a concern, we understand the limited alternatives. We had a great trip with Inca Expert Travel. Usually, we plan our trips ourselves, but we chose to use a service because of the language barriers and transport challenges in Peru. There were many times we mentioned how pleased we were with the guides, support, and transport. They took care of all the details, and we just had to relax and learn. The cost was totally worth it since everything, except tips, was covered. (We booked our own flights, but they adjusted to those plans.)

Inca organized a wonderful trip for us to Peru and Machu Picchu. They created a full but doable schedule so we could visit Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. The guides were amazing, knowledgeable, and super flexible. Inca's 24-hour support really stood out when our son fell ill the day we were supposed to visit Machu Picchu. They made sure to arrange different plans so we could still enjoy our time. I highly recomend them.
