planning our Oahu trip over Christmas was a blast, and we stumbled upon the coolest activities through TA. Snorkeling with manta rays? Check. Plantation tour? Double check. Left some love for the tour operators on TA, but seriously, can we talk about how authentic and spot-on their website is? Major props to TA for making our holiday adventure epic!

So, I booked a trip through TripAdvisor

So, I booked a trip through TripAdvisor, but turns out Viator was involved, which I didn't know until I got the tickets. TripAdvisor shouldn't just say it's not their problem... Paid almost 300 bucks. Then got an email from the tour company saying sorry, they're all booked up, no space. Asked for my money back on the site, but Viator (the ones who gave me the tickets) said no refunds! Even though there was no tour! Seriously, how can these guys say they're a real business? After lots of complaining on social media and talking to customer service, finally got my money back. It's just ridiculous that TripAdvisor acts like they know everything about travel when they let stuff like this happen.

scam alert! Booked a snorkeling gig in Cancun via TripAdvisor, and boy, did we get played. The weather was wonky, and the underwater scene was like trying to snorkel in a mud puddle. Complained at the desk, they nodded in agreement but passed the buck to TripAdvisor. So, we hit up TripAdvisor, but guess what? They say the trip was a success since we took part. Classic runaround. AquaWorld knew the visibility was a bust but didn't bother giving us a heads up. Straight-up scammy move. Lesson learned – shady providers and murky lakes don't make for a stellar snorkeling day.

A decent guy ... but with some shady practices. They really capitalize on homeowners after the storms. Fixed a damaged weather head and an old meter box in just 1 hr 20". $800 for labor and $1150 for parts. This company seems to have a strange pricing model. Regardless of the time spent on your job, they charge either a half day ($800) or a full day ($1600). Owner, Donny, seems like a nice guy, but his ethics are questionable. I wouldn't suggest using this company!

Man, it's a bummer dealing with sketchy sites like hotelvalues and getaroom linked with TripAdvisor. They show up in Google searches promising the best deal, and you take the bait. But wait for it – hit that payment button, and bam, surprise! Suddenly, your bill is sky-high with mysterious taxes that have zero chill and nothing to do with the country's tax laws. Talk about a sneaky move. TripAdvisor, you might want to rethink your buddies here.

Не можна довіряти TripAdvisor. Повністю упереджені відгуки, мені видаляли відгуки про деякі місця, бо вони були негативними. Як це допомагає попередити інших про можливі шахрайства чи витрачені марно гроші?
