We returned from the cruise

We returned from the cruise "Canadian Northwest Passage & Northern Lights." We had a memorable trip, seeing Polar Bears, Polar Foxes, Musk Oxes, various seals, whales, and many seagulls, all while enjoying mostly clear skies with little rain. The SH Vega, which is two years old, is well-maintained and modern in design. The staff in the two restaurants were very polite and professional, ensuring all our needs were met. The meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, were great in terms of atmosphere, quality, and variety of food and drinks. The expedition team was efficient, handling everything from wildlife observations to the logistics of Zodiac embarkations and disembarkations. Safety measures were well-organized, and we always felt secure during landings. We also enjoyed informative presentations on various cruise topics. Lastly, the captain and crew made us feel safe and at home throughout the journey.

The cruise was amazing.

Everything from meeting us to getting us to the ship went smoothly and on time. The ship was cozy, and our cabin on deck 6 with a balcony was very nice. The cleaning was always done well, and the staff were very quick to help. Robinson at the reception was really kind and helped us a lot with the parka. The crew was just fantastic. Vyacheslav, Toby, Gennady and others were wonderful, but sadly I couldn’t remember all their names! As for Antarctica, it’s impossible to describe—such a unique experience. One downside is that 11 days feels too short. If you can, choose a longer trip. The restaurant waiters were very polite and friendly. Only thing we didn’t enjoy much was the dinner menu. Some dishes were not tasty and had wierd mixes of ingredients, especially the salads. We liked the buffet much better.

The experience was very enjoyable! The guides and staff, as well as the housekeeping, were all great. The guides were friendly and shared plenty of useful information. They did their best to show us as much as possible, even with the fog. The food and service were great, and the staff always remembered the little things about our preferences. The cabin was comfortable, with lots of space for our things and a nice balcony. A memorable trip that was definitely worth the cost!

Great customer service with staff who

Great customer service with staff who remembered my name and always greeted me warmly. They made me feel welcome and cared for. The ships are small and cosy, perfect for the experience I was looking for, which included a relaxing retreat. The ship was very clean and well kept, and the staff paid attention to little things, like making sure I had everything I needed for my morning coffee. I can't really think of anything that could have been better.

We had a nice trip. Of course, the weather can't be controlled, and it was rough on a few days, making it a bit tricky to get on and off the Zodiacs. Food was good, and all staff were great. The only downside was the entertainment. The pianist played well, but there was no vibe in the lounge.
