I just got back from my trip to Scotland and Ireland on my 5th FTLO tour! As usual, FTLO did a great job planning the itinerary. We got to see a lot of both countries and really experienced their cultures and histories. I wish we had more time in some spots, but now I have a reason to go back! Raquel, our tour guide, was amazing. She kept us organized and managed all the details (which couldn't have been easy with a large group over NYE!). She has such a friendly and warm energy, and it’s clear she's really passionate about traveling. I can’t wait for my 6th FTLO trip!

I just came back from the Lapland trip (my 6th FTLO trip). If you ever wanted to see Lapland, this is a great way to do it! The places we saw, the things we did, and the food we tried were all well planned and let us really enjoy all three countries and Lappish culture. The views (with or without the Northern Lights) were stunning – really beautiful. Maddy, our guide, did a great job leading us, giving tips on what to bring, what to wear, and made things as easy as posible. She’s also just great company, as were all the people on the trip.

His love and knowledge of Cuba really stands out and makes the experience enjoyable. The trip was filled with fun activities and culture, with everything planned out nicely. Ivan even added a few unexpected treats along the way! Ivan was one of the best guides I’ve had with FTLO or anywhere else. He really made the whole trip great and relaxed.

I just returned from my first FTLO adventure to the Basque Country in northern Spain with Anna. She was a fantastic guide! Very kind and a real delight to be around. She managed all the details (and there were many) flawlessly while keeping things enjoyable and fun. The trip itself was also amazing. Every activity (pelota, pinxto tours, hiking, wine tastings, cooking class) was better than expected! I highly suggest this trip to anyone who enjoys food, wine, mountains, city vibes, ocean, and rich cultural experiences.

Greek Islands Adventure: Unforgettable Solo Trip

Just got back from an unforgettable trip to the Greek Islands, and let me tell you, it was amazing! Our trip leader was fantastic, and the group was such a cool mix of people from the US and Canada, ranging from their 20s to 40s. Everyone was traveling solo, and we all clicked instantly, which made the experience even more special. The excursions were top-notch, especially the private boat tours. We also had this incredible visit to a local farm for food and wine tasting that blew my mind. The variety of experiences kept things fresh and exciting every day. The food was delicious, with most meals included in the trip cost, which was a nice bonus. As for the accommodations, they were decent but not luxurious. Given how much we were out exploring, it wasn’t a big deal for me, but if you're expecting five-star hotels, you might be a bit disappointed. One minor gripe was the hotel in Paros being quite far from the main town, requiring a long taxi ride. Overall, the trip was fantastic. I've done Contiki tours before, and I found FTLO to be a step up since most experiences are included in the price. Highly recommend the Greek Islands trip with FTLO!

We didn't manage to explore the northern part of the island, so I'd suggest adding a couple more days to your trip if you can. But what truly made this trip unforgettable was the people. Our group of 12 was super close-knit, and it felt like we were all long-time friends. And then there was Piera, our trip leader. She was just incredible—funny, kind, and always there to help. Crete Adventure: Food, Fun, and Boat Bliss!

Just got back from an amazing trip to Crete with FTLO, and Vassia was our awesome guide! It was my first time with FTLO and in Greece, but I've done trips with Flash Pack before, so I was curious to see how they compared. Vassia blew me away with her knowledge of Crete and found the BEST food spots, even catering to my no gluten/dairy needs. Crete itself was stunning – such a big island with so much to explore. Wandering through the old city streets of Rethymno and Chania was a real treat. But the boat day? Absolute highlight! Seriously thinking they should add another boat trip, maybe a sunset cruise? Only downside was the hotels weren't as fancy as the ones on my Flash Pack trip, so giving it 4 stars. Still, I'd totally book with FTLO again!
