Unforgettable Grecian Island Adventure with Melpo

Just got back from the Greecian Island trip, and wow, what an experience! Melpo, our guide, was simply fantastic. Her calm demeanor really set the tone for the whole trip, and she made sure we all knew what was happening and where we needed to be. Directions were spot on, no confusion there. However, finding info before the trip was a bit of a struggle, could've been smoother. But once we were there, it was all worth it. The islands are stunning, and we got to explore so much. Definitely a trip to remember!

Overpriced Trip, Misleading Itinerary, Beware!

Chatting with Piera during our Sardinia trip was like catching up with an old friend. She's super warm and genuinely cares about making everything perfect. She made sure everyone felt included and happy. But here's the thing – the trip was way too expensive for what we got. FTLO's prices are through the roof, and honestly, you could plan the same trip on your own for half the cost. The accommodations were just basic 3-star hotels, nothing special. And the itinerary? It got boring fast. By the third day in Cagliari, we were all over it and wished we’d spent more time near Cala Gonone. Only one hotel was close to the beach, so most days we had to figure out transportation to get some sun. What really ticked me off was FTLO changing the itinerary after we’d already paid. Sardinia has amazing hikes, and while our trip wasn't supposed to be super active, it did promise a hike. Instead, we got a quick stop for an Instagram pic. And the reviews? They're totally skewed. FTLO incentivizes people to leave glowing reviews, which feels really shady. If you're thinking about booking with them, just be aware that the 5-star reviews might not be the whole truth.

Sardinia's Beauty Outshines Tour Flaws

I went on a trip with FTLO to Sardinia, and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure. Our tour guide, Pierla, was a gem. She really knew her stuff and was so passionate about sharing her love for the country. She made an effort to get to know each of us, which made the experience feel more personal. However, the itinerary could use some tweaking. We spent way too many days in Cagliari. Felt like we could have explored more places instead of being stuck there for so long. The hotel choices were not the best either, could definitely be improved. But despite these hiccups, Sardinia is an absolute gem. The landscapes are stunning, the locals are friendly, and the food is to die for. I'd still say it's worth the trip, just maybe wait until FTLO irons out the details.
