    I received assistance with challenging technical issues.

    I received assistance with challenging technical issues. It was found that I had to modify the file '/etc/network/interfaces' on Debian 10 in a specific manner. My web console still indicates my IPV6 address is not functioning and requires adjustment, but testing with 'ping6 2001:4860:4860::8888' confirms that it is indeed working. It seems the web console might be incorrect. I have recently upgraded to Debian 11, but it has not resolved the issue.

    We've been with DO as customers

    We've been with DO as customers since 2018. We faced a security breach recently, where an unauthorized user took control of our account and created some droplets using our API key. DO support proved to be highly effective, ultimately helping us secure a waiver for the billing that exceeded the norm. Reflecting on my six years with DO, I must say the overall experience has been consistently positive.

    My account was blocked for no apparent reason

    My experience with DigitalOcean has been frustrating. My account was blocked for no apparent reason, and attempts to create a new one met with similar issues. Connecting payment methods, such as Apple Pay and PayPal, also resulted in account blocks. Support's inability to resolve these issues has left me dissatisfied. While DigitalOcean may offer cost-effective solutions, its unreliability makes me consider pricier but more dependable alternatives like Azure.

    I had a contract with Paperspace

    I had a contract with Paperspace (acquired by Digital Ocean in 2023) to use a VM for a long time, but many service interruptions, including entire days, badly impacted my business. I requested a partial refund, but they refused with no reason. Digital Ocean was informed but didn't do anything. Avoid this company; they don't care about their customers.

    Appalling experience with Digital Ocean. They arbitrarily suspended our account, leaving us without crucial resources. A cautionary tale for businesses entrusting them with hosting. Customer support responded with a condescending tone, amplifying the frustration. Won't consider using their services again.
