I recently tried selling my bike

I recently tried selling my bike on Facebook Marketplace with little success—only one interested buyer from a friend's post. Feeling a bit discouraged, I decided to invest some money and give Cycle Trader a shot. To my surprise, my bike received five inquiries almost immediately, and I successfully sold it within a week. The difference in response was remarkable, and the investment in using Cycle Trader proved to be worthwhile for a quick and efficient sale.

Cycl Trade gave me visibility to sell my motorbike

Cycl Trade gave me visibility to sell my motorbike I wouldn't have had otherwise. I took out a 2-week ad and sold my bike in less than a week. There were some small issues that keep me from giving 5 stars, including the inability to update my phone or email information online, and getting buyer messages delayed by a day or so. Customer service did get back to me with an update about this, but after about 3 business days. All in all a good experience, and worth the effort instead of taking lowball offers from services like RumbleOn and Powersport Buyers.

Received lots of responses, but most potential

Received lots of responses, but most potential buyers were hesitant to follow through and schedule a test ride. Also, there were a lot of people contacting from out of state, many of whom seemed like SCAMMERS. The advertised price was $4,995, and when a serious buyer asked for the BEST Price, I dropped it to $4,500. Then the buyer offered $4,200 without even seeing the bike or taking a test ride.

Sold my bike within 2 weeks!

Sold my bike within 2 weeks! I lik the interface and easy messaging wth potential buyers. Overall, a really good experience. I was able to sell my '23 HD Low Rider ST for $4k mor than the low-ball offer from the HD dealership I bought it from.

    Prompt replies from interested buyers

Prompt replies from interested buyers, but 4 turned out to be total scammers. One even gave me a phoney check for $9970.00. Check out Cycle Trader’s alert on scammers and be careful.

    I was kinda lost

I was kinda lost on how to answer a lead. Had to log in every time. No other issues. Overall, decent experience.

Using Cycle Trader was easy enough

Using Cycle Trader was easy enough, but I couldn't sell my motorcycle in a month. It got over a hundred views, but no serious buyers reached out, even though I priced it below current market value.

I put up my motorcycle for sale

I put up my motorcycle for sale, tossed in some pics, and forked over the listing fee. Guess what? The darn pictures were apparently too hefty, and my ad got the boot. No heads up or anything. I'm just going about my business, clueless. Finally decided to hit up Cycle Trader to figure out why my ad's playing hide and seek. Turns out, I gotta redo it with smaller pics. Lost me a good chunk of listing time there. Once I finally managed to squeeze those photos down, everything ran smooth.

    Absolutely riddled with scammers,

Absolutely riddled with scammers, it's disheartening. Trader pubs used to be reliable for selling, but now they're swarming with unscrupulous individuals just waiting to trap the unsuspecting. The only defense seems to be declaring, "I only deal with locals and in cash." Unfortunately, this severely limits the pool of potential buyers. Advertising in this manner, without the ability to sift through legitimate prospects, simply doesn't cut it in today's marketplace. The constant threat of scams has tainted what used to be a trustworthy avenue for transactions.

    The company didn't attract

The company didn't attract many visitors. It doesn't feel worth the money considering there are free alternatives available.
