I ordered the 44L Stallion - Leather Wrapped. It was to replace the old ones on my bike (Yamaha V Star 1300). Those had been through quite a bit, about 20,000 miles or so. Twice I hadn’t closed the lid right, and the seam split after flapping around at high speed. So I decided to call Viking Bags. I had a short trip planned, and the bags arrived just in time, but they got damaged during shipping. That wasn't great, so I called Viking Bags and spoke to Omar. I’m no expert on shipping, but the boxes must have been handled pretty roughly. Omar understood my situation, offered to let me use the damaged bags for my trip, and then return them for a refund. He also gave me a nice deal on an upgrade. I went for the matte black this time, no more leather for me haha. If you’re placing an order, ask for Omar.

I was disappointed with the fitment

These bags were marketed as specifically designed for my Harley Dyna, but in reality, they turned out to be generic, one-size-fits-all bags. Getting them to fit on my bike required extensive modifications and a fair amount of trial and error, which was frustrating. If you encounter fitment issues and decide to return them, be prepared to cover the shipping costs, making the return process more expensive than it should be. What's even more concerning is their return policy. If you've tried to fit the bags and accidentally left marks on them, they might void the return, leaving you with no recourse. Unless you have no other alternative, I would strongly advise against these bags, especially if you're seeking a bike-specific fit.
