Shopping on the Columbia Sportswear website can feel like a slap

Shopping on the Columbia Sportswear website can feel like a slap in the face to your wallet. Every time I check, their online prices are way higher than what I find in local stores carrying similar Columbia items. It really puts me off, and I just can’t see myself paying that much more. Luckily, there's a Columbia outlet not far from me, so that’s where I pick up all my stuff. The discounts there are pretty good, and it’s the only place I go for Columbia gear. Without that outlet, I might be leaning toward other brands. Because of the price differences, I’ve never bought anything from Columbia’s website. So I can't speak to their customer service or the online shopping experience. My review is based just on how much more expensive their website prices are compared to local stores.

The help team did not asist us. No way to contact them except phone, and calling is not helpfull at all. We sent back our item, they said they got it. But still no money back! They just took our money and didnt even give a voucher or other option to fix our issue with them. We just want our items back, a swap, or our mony returnd. We need to speak to support who can make a choice by email, so we dont keep saying the same thing again and again on the phone to an uninterested agent.

I found this company quite misleading with their return policy. Throughout my purchase, there was no clear mention of any return fees, neither on the product page nor at the final order page. Even when I clicked on their return policy link on these pages, there was nothing about any costs. But as soon as I started the return process, the return fee suddenly appeared.

I’m still waiting for my refund of £256 after returning the items at the end of November, and now it’s January 6th. I’ve called and emailed customer service several times, but no one seems to know what’s going on. I asked about filing a complaint, but they said I need to email the original email feed for that. Really disappointing service, I’ve never dealt with a company like this before.

CHEATS! STAY AWAY FROM COLUMBIA! I bought a jacket for $60 and never got it. Customer service is there just to say “sorry, there’s nothing I can do.” After I found this site and saw other people's reviews, I regret not checking it earlier. It's so disappointing to see a company making money by being dishonest and showing no integrity at all.

One of the worst companies I’ve had to deal with. Stay as far away as possible. The website is full of errors and I could not print the return label. I called several times, but never got the return label, even though they promised to send it by email. All I want is my money back, and I’ll never buy from them again.
