Ordering on December 11, 2023, was a breeze, but the anticipation turned into frustration as the delivery dragged on until January 6, 2024. I had expected a much quicker turnaround and was disappointed by the delay. The process of moving our old washer and dryer to the garage, as per AC's request, was swift. However, the delivery team, consisting of two rather unfriendly individuals, hastily unwrapped the Electrolux appliances and left promptly.
In the midst of this chaotic experience, Celia emerged as the only beacon of reason. She acknowledged the inconvenience and offered a $50 credit for the trouble we endured. While we appreciate this gesture, it's evident that more comprehensive information should be provided during the initial purchase. The email suggesting the placement of old appliances in the garage for easy pickup hinted at the absence of white glove service, a detail that might have been better communicated by the salesperson. Now, we're left organizing an electrician to connect everything, as we opted not to choose the white glove service. Despite the hiccups, Celia's assistance did provide a measure of relief in an otherwise less-than-ideal situation.
