Clean and quiet spot.

Clean and quiet spot. No annoying kids or rude people with cameras. Everyone's nice and happy. Staff and trainers are great. I had Mike, who understood PTSD and autism well. Didn't make me feel bad like other places do. No issues at Anytime Fitness Squamish. Great supplement store downstairs. Overall, best place around. Can't ask for better.

Absolutely loved the 6 week

Absolutely loved the 6 week trainin' sessions I jus' finished. The trainer made sure I was doin' exercises that worked fer me. He pushed me at the right times. Lost weight and inches!

I gave this gym a go for two months. It's nice that it's open 24/7, but it's often crowded, and the bathrooms aren't the cleanest. Sometimes the machines stay broken for a week, which is not ideal. After giving it a fair chance, I’m planning to switch to another gym.

It's really hard to cancel and they charge unfair fees. "Club enhancement fees" get added for no reason, even if you have already canceled your membership. The customer service is from a third party and they can only read from their script.

I decided to terminate my membership, an action that should have been straightforward. Several months before what I presumed was the conclusion of my 6-month contract, I informed them of my intent to cancel. Oddly, I had never received a contract via email or been made aware of its terms. When the contract's presumed end date arrived, I contacted the gym to confirm the cancellation, only to be informed that an additional month's notice was required, and they intended to charge me for the subsequent month. Frustrated, I provided a comprehensive analysis of our email correspondence, demonstrating the validity of my original notice. Their response was disheartening; they disclaimed any responsibility for keeping track of customer notices, essentially shifting the blame to me. In the end, I had to resort to canceling my direct debit to put an end to the recurring charges. This gym's unprofessionalism and indifference to customer concerns were exasperating and bordering on unethical.

If there was an option for zero stars, that’s exactly what I’d give this gym! I moved away from an Anytime Fitness location and canceled my membership, yet this branch still sent my minor son to collections. After numerous complaints, they decided to move the collection to me while still trying to withdraw fees. The customer service has been awful, with staff suggesting I get an attorney. They seem more interested in bad reviews than solving customer issues. Despite my move out of state, they keep trying to take money from my account. I had to put a fraud alert on my card. This gym is terrible and doesn’t know how to handle membership cancellations. They’re chasing a small fee at the cost of losing customers for good. Very disappointing. These people are terrible. I will never join an Anytime Fitness again. Gym goers beware! Avoid signing anything with them.

I gave them notice of cancellation months before my 6 month contract was up. (They never told me it was a 6 month contract and never gave me the contract through email) then fast forward to 6 months, I email again just letting them know if everything is in order to cancel and they say they actually need 1 month's notice to cancel, saying they will charge me again for the next month. I wrote an in-depth analysis of exchanged emails and how my notice of cancellation was valid, but I was told “it’s not their job to keep track of all the customers” so I just cancelled the direct debit. They are now talking about late fees etc. Do not join this gym; they are careless, unprofessional scammers.

One star only because zero isn’t an option

One star only because zero isn’t an option, which it shoud be. Paid fully for my first year. When second year came, I told them I didn’t want to pay all at once since I might move. We talked about it, they made me sign their contract, and when I left, they still chased me for £188 and even sent debt colectors after me. Don’t beleive a word they say. Always use email for talking to them so they can’t twist things later.
