We got a quote to fix 7 small holes in our stucco. Price felt steep, but we figured maybe they needed gear to get up to our roof and chimney for a couple of the patches. Also thought it’d take longer than just 3 hours to do the job. They billed us $1,900 for 3 hours of work — that’s crazy high, like $600+ per hour! They used less than $100 in supplies and even used our own paint. We asked to lower the bill, but the owner said pay up or he’d get his lawyer. Now we’re filing a small court case to try and get back at least half. Stucco doesn’t take that long to patch, especially when the holes are as tiny as these. You can find way more fair contractors out there who won’t charge you this much. This was all after Hurricane Helene tore through Lexington bad. Stay away from this contrator. They just want your money and they lie!!!
