Minehut is free and quite good, but sometimes it's not reliable because the host crashes or the website becomes inaccessible often. The support from Minehut is also good, and the support agents are nice. I bought the PRO rank before the new update, and I feel like the new update was done poorly. I wish I could still have white chat and /ely on my original PRO rank. There have been some really good recent updates, although I hope to see subusers at some point. I would give 5 stars, but there are just a lot of inconveniences, bad updates, and downtimes. I also experience a lot of issues like lagging my PC when going to the website, even for a few seconds.

This server hosting sucks.
by Václav

This server hosting sucks. The daily usage limit of 4 hours is extremely limiting. Whenever someone raises concerns, the response is always about the high costs of providing free server hosting. While that may be true, other hosting services manage to offer better free plans. It seems like Minehut is struggling financially, forcing them to make their free plans subpar just to survive. Giving it a one-star review seems fair to me. I used Minehut in 2021, and it was great, even better than Aternos. The server was enjoyable, featuring regularly updated add-ons. Unfortunately, the current state is far from its best time. The add-ons are now outdated and incompatible with the latest versions. It's disheartening to see a service that I once liked deteriorate into something that shouldn't be around.

by Anonymous

The company's decision to impose a maximum playtime of just 4 hours daily and restrict downloading your world with a payment requirement is quite disappointing. It hampers the overall user experience and raises concerns about accessibility. It's not a move that resonates positively with users, and it impacts the freedom and enjoyment previously associated with the service.

I find the company's service lacking in file
by Bigman

I find the company's service lacking in file access efficiency. Waiting 10 hours to download a world is frustrating, hindering gameplay on platforms like Falix or Aternos. The inability to use singleplayer or build a spawn without the world exacerbates the issue. Incorporating join requests for friends to seamlessly join the server is a missing feature. Cost-wise, suggesting external drives and a single server for file management may be a viable workaround, but the overall experience falls short of user-friendly expectations.

Minehut was once a reliable free
by Jayden Plays

Minehut was once a reliable free server host, which I frequently utilized. However, recent changes in their approach to free users have been disappointing. Initially, there was an 8-hour time limit, which I accepted. Yet, it was reduced to 4 hours, then to a mere 2 hours. Attempting to switch servers was a hassle, as they restricted the download process to one file at a time. Minehut's treatment of free users, especially limiting file downloads, feels unfair. It's disheartening to witness the decline in service quality, prompting me to consider leaving Minehut for good.
