    Phew! What a relief!

Phew! What a relief! I got tons of emails from this place. After checking their terms & conditions, I saw this isn't a company I'd back. What shocked me was their stance on relationships. Single dads with kids wouldn't fit their bill. It's troubling that being non-English in Orlando is a no-go. I'm no lawyer, but this seems fishy. Corporations can do a lot, though. Glad I read the reviews! I won't stay at their resorts.

    FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! I got tricked into a deal with Westgate Resorts. They promised I could cancel anytime if I didn't like the services. I paid for this timeshare for around 3 years, including monthly payments and upkeep fees. When I tried to reach Westgate to sort out the contract, I was told I couldn’t. I never managed to use the property I bought into. It was always booked. Whatever you do, avoid timeshare!

    Beware of High-Pressure Timeshare Tactics!

So, I got invited to this VIP tour with breakfast, right? They start with this meh breakfast, and then it's onto this endless 1.5-hour presentation about their timeshare. The apartments they showed were stunning, but I'd read enough reviews to know it's probably a bait-and-switch. They offered $150 just for attending, which sounded decent until you realize what you're in for. These salespeople were relentless. They tried to push this "buy now or the price goes up by $12k tomorrow" spiel on me—hilarious, right? I kept saying no because, you know, I like to weigh my options. But they just wouldn't stop. Another guy comes in, trying to sell me a rental program for half the price. Nope, still not interested. Then a third person shows up, pushing me to prepay for my next vacation. I was so fed up by then. When you decline, their nice facade drops real quick. I wasted two and a half hours just to get that $150, but I could see how they trap people with their high-pressure tactics. If you're not good at saying no, steer clear. Otherwise, go grab your free cash and run.

    Vacation Nightmare: Avoid This Scam!

Man, let me tell you about this crazy experience I had with a vacation package from work. The deal seemed sweet, right? Pick a spot, pay a fair price, and just call an 800 number when you're ready. Simple enough. Fast forward, I'm all set to book my trip and they can't find me in the system. Like, what? I gave them my receipt number and still, nada. They said they'd escalate it, but no one called me back. So, I call again, and finally, they find my info. I pick my dates, but then they drop this bomb about having to attend some meeting. Weird, but whatever, I go with it. Then they hit me with a $35 booking fee. I mean, come on, I've already paid a bunch. But I paid it, only to get told I don't qualify and my trip's canceled. They said they'd refund me with an electronic check. Fingers crossed that's not another scam. Guys, seriously, book your own trips. These people are a nightmare!

Beware: Westgate Resorts Preys on Retirees

Signed up for a Westgate Timeshare in July 2021. As a retired veteran, I never thought I'd be taken advantage of like this. We stopped making payments because we just can't afford to pay a predatory company anymore. The return on our investment? Almost zero. They used deceitful tactics and high-pressure sales pitches, and we're demanding our contract be terminated. When we visited the Florida resort in July 2022, we expected to stay in the new unit they showed us initially. What a disappointment! The place was filthy, with dirty floors and a strange smell in the hallways. And if that wasn’t enough, they made us attend another meeting to push us into buying a larger unit. We told them about the condition of our room, and they didn't care at all. Avoid Westgate Resorts if you value your money and peace of mind!

    Scammed and Lied To Repeatedly

I need to share my experience with this so-called "trip package" we supposedly won. We tried to cancel it, called five different times within the 30-day period. Every single time, we were assured it was canceled, but nope, they lied. We never got our money back. When we followed up, we found out they never canceled it at all. One rep even gave us a fake confirmation number. We had to escalate to management, and now we're threatening to take this to the attorney general if we don't get our refund in two weeks. We recorded today's calls and got an email confirming the cancellation. Done with these liars.

    Beware: Timeshare Scam Alert!

If you’re thinking about getting a timeshare, please think again. These folks straight-up lied to us. They painted this beautiful picture of what we’d be getting, but it was all smoke and mirrors. They said we could set everything up in two weeks and cancel anytime if we weren’t happy. But guess what? The contract says you only have 10 days to cancel. Our rep told us we had 30 days, but when we tried to cancel, they flat-out refused. Now we’re looking at taking legal action. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of these scammers. They’re just out to rip off hardworking people!

    Trapped in a Timeshare Nightmare

I got trapped in a contract with Westgate Resorts, and it's been a nightmare. They promised I could cancel anytime if I wasn't happy, but when I tried after three years of paying monthly fees and maintenance, they said I couldn't. I never even got to use the property I signed up for; it was always booked. Seriously, avoid timeshares like the plague. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
