SO HAPPY!

We Feed Raw is just great! A bit of background... my XL American Bully is 2 years old and has suffered from severe allergies since he was a puppy. When he was 10 months old, we did an allergy test with the dermatologist. Since then, he's been on many antibiotics for his skin issues. He also regularly gets Apoquel, Cytopoint, immunotherapy shots, and medicated baths. Sadly, the skin infections still pop up, just not as often. Before heading back to the dermatologist for more meds, I decided to look into alternatives. Raw diets kept showing up in my research, but it seemed pretty controversial. The main point I kept reading was that the Raw diet needs to be well balanced. I started feeling overwhelmed, but then I found We Feed Raw and saw that it was balanced. I made an appointment with a holistic vet to talk about raw diets and show them We Feed Raw. I just wanted to make sure I understood everything before switching. After going through it all, the vet said We Feed Raw seemed like a great option. I felt much more comfortable and decided to try it out. I was a bit nervous because my dog has always been picky with kibble, so I always needed toppers to get him to eat. On the first day I added some raw to his kibble, he gobbled it up! I've never seen him eat that fast! It's been almost 2 weeks now and he's fully on raw with some extra supplements and toppers like fruits and veggies (as recommended by the vet). He now drools and spins around at mealtime. He’s so excited to eat and finishes everything! Maybe it’s just me hoping, but he seems less itchy now! I’m hopeful that soon we can lower his Apoquel dose. crossing my fingers We also love how simple it is to adjust his profile/order on the website. We originally planned to do 50/50 kibble and raw, but the vet advised full raw or nothing, so I needed to change the order. It was really easy to do! I'm a bit confused about all the poor reviews on customer service. Every time I've emailed We Feed Raw with a question, I've gotten a reply within an hour. The people I’ve talked to have all been so friendly and helpful. All in all, we’ve been really happy with everything. I’ve told lots of friends about it and they’re also thinking about switching. If you’re considering it... go for it! Your dog will be happy!

After navigating the maze of prescription diets and supplements for my dog, we opted for a soy protein-based diet (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hydrolyzed Protein HP). Switching to Raw feeding, formulated by a PhD animal nutritionist, proved transformative. Within a day, GI issues vanished, and persistent itching ceased. By the fourth day, a shinier coat and increased energy were evident. The beef formula addressed allergies, and the convenience of complete nutrition eliminated the need for rotational feeding. Noteworthy is the responsive and knowledgeable customer service, consistently providing prompt answers to my inquiries.

I've had a good time with We Feed

I've had a good time with We Feed Raw since I began using them at the start of March. I own an Irish Setter who's 10 months old and a Yorkie weighing 6 pounds. It took us about 5 days to switch over. They even sent me a shipment ahead of schedule when we wouldn't have made it to the next regular delivery date. The dogs' waste isn't soft and is much simpler to clean up. They really enjoy the raw food. Initially, I planned to mix it 50/50 with kibble, but now I'm sticking with 100% We Feed Raw. - Lori

PJ, our lovely rat terrier/chihuahua mix, has been facing some health challenges, and I've heard that a raw diet might be beneficial for him. He's been on a raw diet for a week now. I explored a few other raw food options, but what stood out with WFR is that it contains no fillers. What's even better is that PJ absolutely adores it! My experience with this company

My experience with this company was disappointing. Cancelling after the trial was unnecessarily complicated, with misleading attempts to pause the service instead. Despite my efforts to cancel, I was still billed, and the company denied my cancellation. Currently, I'm in the frustrating process of disputing these charges. In comparison to other dog food services I've used, this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. Approach with caution if considering their services.

However, the delayed timing for my subsequent order, causing a 10-day wait, proved inconvenient. Despite this, my discerning dog remains a fan of the food. Though slightly pricey, the satisfaction of my canine companion makes it worthwhile, earning the company a solid 4 stars in my book.

We Feed Raw has been a great decision for my pet! My frenchie has several allergies and she’s never been in better health! She hasn’t needed to visit the vet for more than two years! Adjusting the meal plan is simple! Their customer service is very good and always quick to reply! I’m thankful I discovered them and, most importantly, I know my pet is getting the best food for a longer life together!❤️

My finicky 10 year old son adores this food. Each evening while I’m getting his meal ready, he’s drooling and tapping his feet with joy. His energy is high and he’s a lively and cheerful pup! I highly suggest feeding raw to anyone thinking of switching from kibble.

The packaging for this

The packaging for this product is quite subpar compared to other high-quality brands. You have to cut it open from all sides, and it's quite messy because there's no easy peeling function. This alone is enough to deter me from purchasing in the future. Additionally, I signed up for a 2-week trial, and my dog is already on a raw diet, which I specified in their onboarding quiz. They instructed me to feed him 24 oz per day. Over 14 days, that should have totaled 21 lbs of food. However, I only received 16 lbs. This was frustrating because the checkout process was not transparent about the exact weight of the order, only showing "2 weeks of food at 24 oz per day." So I did the math, expecting 21 lbs, to calculate the average cost per pound before making the purchase. It seemed like they included a transition period for dogs coming from kibble, even though my dog was already on a raw diet, which might have resulted in me getting a few pounds less food than expected. The food quality seems good, and my dog enjoys it, but I don't appreciate feeling misled. If I had received the full 2 weeks of food as advertised, I would have given it 4 stars, still deducting 1 star due to the inconvenient packaging.
