I visited the Walgreens pharmacy in Riviera

I visited the Walgreens pharmacy in Riviera Beach to pick up my prescription, but they were just closing. Needing help fast, I went to the Walgreens on 45th and Congress, hoping they could help. I had just been diagnosed with asthma and needed an antibiotic and inhaler urgently. I told Martha, the pharmacist, about my situation and that the other pharmacy where my prescription was sent had closed. Martha was very kind and caring. She worked hard, facing many challenges, to get urgent care to resend the prescription to her store. After about an hour and a lot of confusion, Martha finally got the prescription and filled it for me. I’m so thankful to Martha for not giving up. Martha and her team were great. Thanks a lot, Martha.

Ever since I started going to the 130 N Broadway place in Denver, Colorado, the pharmacy staff has been really great. There are two ladies who work there, and they always make sure my insurance is billed correctly. They're doing an outstanding job! There are also many employees at the front who are professional, friendly, and helpful, even though it's a busy place. I also appreciate that they hire people with disabilities. That

Avoid the Walgreens app and account

Avoid the Walgreens app and account setup at all costs! Shockingly, someone used my phone number to create an account without my knowledge. Walgreens customer service was unhelpful, unable to address the security breach. Deleting my account offered no assurance that my sensitive medical and pharmacy information is secure. Absolutely unacceptable and perilous!

Website claimed the pharmacy at 698 Fairview Rd in SimpsonvilleSC closed for lunch from 1:30-2:00. I patiently waited in the drive-thru for 25 minutes, only to be informed at noon that they were closed. Two staff members argued about it, wasting time. Disappointing service, lacking community support, Walgreens.

They ought to provide a way to give zero stars because this company would break the record for them. I got a prescription from my doctor, and it went through medical review with my insurance, all approved. But Walgreens has been holding onto it for over a week, insisting they need to speak with the doctor's office. It's not fair to keep medication approved by a doctor and insurance. I won't support Walgreens anymore; they're not what they used to be. Oh, how times have changed.

My recent experience at the pharmacy

My recent experience at the pharmacy left me frustrated and concerned. Despite having just come from the doctor and urgently needing to pick up my high blood pressure medication, I faced an unexpected hurdle. The Asian staff member at the pharmacy informed me that the medication would be ready in two hours, conflicting with the stated closing time of 6:00 PM when my app indicated availability at 7:30 PM. This situation is particularly distressing given the urgency of my need for medication to manage high blood pressure. The notion that certain customers may receive preferential treatment based on their ethnicity is troubling and suggests a biased approach to customer service. The location at Arcade and Maryland in St. Paul appears to be mismanaged, impacting the timely provision of essential medications and potentially compromising the well-being of customers. Addressing these issues is crucial for maintaining the trust and satisfaction of all patrons.

Disheartening experience at Walgreens—pharmacist displayed rudeness and disrespect. Balancing caregiving, two jobs, and parenting, I rely on pain meds for a doctor-prescribed treatment plan. I've opted for non-surgical methods to manage pain effectively. It's dismaying when a pharmacist judges personal medication choices. Walgreens must improve, recognizing diverse medical needs. People have unique responses to medications, necessitating specific choices. Pharmacists should prioritize empathy over judgment, acknowledging the importance of individual health journeys. It's crucial to foster an environment where patients feel supported, not scrutinized, in their pursuit of pain management and overall well-being.

Disappointing experience at the Flowery Branch store around 9:20 pm. A staff member, seemingly lacking education, neglected to provide a bag for my medication and left it on the counter. Subpar service from this individual reflects poorly on the location. Training is crucial to instill amiability and respect in customer interactions. The incident calls for attention to staff professionalism, ensuring customers receive the service and consideration they deserve. Improved training can enhance the overall experience and reputation of this location.

    That Walgreens at 10600

That Walgreens at 10600 Rollingwood in Fredericksburg? Snail's pace for sure! Three times in a row, they fed me the "20-30 minutes, we'll text you" line, and all three times it turned into a marathon – 5 hours! First time, they didn't even have one of the prescriptions, but they spilled the beans the next day. Had to hustle back to the doc for a new one because they'd already processed the missing med. And guess what? Short-staffed every single time. Same ol' excuse on repeat. Definitely crossing them off my go-to list.

Appalling experience with Walgreens—four false claims of having a prescription in stock

Appalling experience with Walgreens—four false claims of having a prescription in stock, causing delays in transferring. My wife went without eye medication for days, posing a risk to her vision. If permanent damage occurs, legal action will be taken against Walgreens. It's disheartening when the only recourse for a retail dispute is through legal channels. The situation reflects poorly on Walgreens' reliability and raises concerns about the impact on customers' health due to their misinformation and negligence.

I recently won a bid on Liquidation for Walgreens' shelf pulls and overstock items. However, my experience has been disappointing. The manifest provided by Walgreens, along with the MSRP for each item, proved to be misleading. Instead of the promised goods, I received old melted chocolate and worthless items with no resale value. The company's leadership should reconsider their practices, as they are tarnishing the reputation of what was once a respectable business.

    The pharmacy on Crossbay Blvd

The pharmacy on Crossbay Blvd in Howard Beach is a total letdown. No way I'm going back there. They seriously need to do something about the whole pharmacy crew – either retrain them from scratch or just find a whole new bunch. Customer service should be their top-notch priority, and Donna, oh boy, she's a whole different story. Definitely not a place I'll be recommending to anyone.

    Dealing with Walgreens is nightmare

Man, dealing with Walgreens is a nightmare. I’m stuck with them because of my insurance, and it’s like pulling teeth. They never have my asthma meds in stock, and trying to get anything done is like running a marathon with no finish line. I had to call my insurance, my doctor, and previous pharmacies just to confirm a simple prescription. And even then, they can’t get it right. They rarely pick up the phone and don’t bother reaching out to prescribers. Plus, they lose your info, so you’re stuck doing the same thing over and over. It’s like the whole system is rigged to make everything harder. The problem seems bigger than just the pharmacists; it’s the corporate suits squeezing every penny out of us. Feels less like healthcare and more like dealing with some greedy corporation.

    I had quite an ordeal

I had quite an ordeal at the Walgreens on 5th & Green in Henderson, KY. After knee surgery, I was in desperate need of pain relief. The hospital sent my prescription there since my usual pharmacy was closed. When I got there, the pharmacist flat-out refused to fill it just because I’d never been there before. It didn’t make sense, especially since the prescription came directly from the hospital. I tried explaining my situation, but he was dismissive and rude. I understand the need for caution with narcotics, but this felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I left feeling frustrated and in pain, questioning how many others face this treatment just because they're new to a pharmacy. This experience was disappointing, to say the least.

    Pretty frustrating time

I had a pretty frustrating experience at the Walgreens on Lebanon Rd in Frisco. Needed meds for my sick kid, so the doc sent the prescription over. I show up, and the drive-through couldn’t find it. Went inside, and they said they had it but it wasn’t ready. They asked me to come back in an hour. Took my kid back home to rest, then returned 1.5 hours later. After waiting 30 minutes in the drive-through, they claimed they didn’t have any record of it! Went inside, and it was chaos—no one seemed to know what was happening. The person I spoke to earlier was gone, and the staff just shrugged it off. My kid deserved better care. Avoid this place if you can.

    Beware

So, I went to my usual pharmacy to ask about my medication, because the pill shape changed and I wanted to make sure it was still the right one. I approached the pharmacist, but she didn't even say hello. Her attitude was so off-putting, like I was bothering her with my question. When I thanked her, she just walked away with a sour expression. It's frustrating when you expect a bit of courtesy and get none. Sometimes, it feels like dealing with strangers would be easier. I just wish people could leave their personal issues behind and act a bit more positive when they're at work.
