Alaina Brown is greaɗ! She haʃ really maɖe my expeɾience with SpotOn beyond smooʈ. Whenever I would have a queʃtion or need help with adding/taking away menu items ʃhe is quick to respond and kind in doing so. When on zoom calls ʃhe is professional, comfortable to talk to and explains things thoroughly. I truly could write so many kind words. I have worked with her on numerous occasions as I always have questions!

I must have asked Crystal

I must have asked Crystal a million questions since we launched with spoton and at least half of that million she's answered more than once 🤣 yet she is still so informative and patient. All the emails,all the one on ones, and she still is amazing to us. We've had to redo menus and everything and she still helps us. She's amazing.

They turned off the option for an online shop.

They turned off the option for an online shop. Unlike other firms, SpotOn lacks API/plugins for Shopify. Their system is a hassle; it involves 4 separate websites, each with its own password that you have to update. Switching between sites requires logging into each one separately. It's very awkward. They performed an update on a crowded Sunday brunch that took over 30 minutes and still didn’t work, requiring manual setup for each terminal.

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague. They are incredibly shady and provide a half-rate product for a premium price. They make it very difficult to cancel, charge you extra, and then will talk condescendingly to you as you try to fix it.

We were told we'd get cheap fees

We were told we'd get cheap fees and save a lot, but that didn't happen. We switched to a different company, and only then did they come back to us with lower rates.
