Once we had a good idea of which safes we wanted, I called Safe & Vault Store and spoke to Brandon. He was really helpful and walked us through the delivery details, which was tricky because of our long driveway and living on a cul-de-sac. Brandon also suggested a safe mover who did a great job. He was always available to answer questions and helped us change the vault security code later on. We're really happy with our experience with Safe & Vault Store. The end cap on the middle nut of the pistol hook mount keeps coming off after I took it off to adjust the hook's angle, but a little superglue should do the trick. I mounted it on the side of a rolling desk I built for my bed. The gun fits nicely and doesn't move around, even when I roll the desk from the foot to the head of the bed. It's also simple to grab and take the pistol off the hooks if I need it during the night. I’ve been testing it since I got it this morning. I will be getting more once my room is ready for more work.

Starting with the buying process, it would be helpful if they let customers know about shipping to residential areas with a semi-truck. They weren't ready for delivery to my house. They used FedEx for shipping, but unfortunately, the safe arrived scratched up and damaged. I had to reject it and ask for a replacement. The second one arrived after 5 weeks, and they used another shipping service, but once again, if you have a long driveway, be prepared to haul it yourself as they just drop it where they pull up. Regarding the new safe, it was okay. However, mine was missing 10 shelf clips upon delivery. Also, the size is misleading. The door organizer attachment takes up around 9 inches when closing the door, reducing the available space for guns. I had to remove the rifle mounts in the door just to be able to shut it properly. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this safe unless you specifically need something with shallow depth or if you have only a few guns.
