I had an issue with my order

I had an issue with my order; it was supposed to be a gift, but the order didn't go through. I didn't get a receipt, and my friend didn't receive the code. My card was charged 126€, so I reached out to customer service. They fixed it fast, and I got my refund today, just in 2 business days. Thanks a lot, Aidan!

Good language app with useful scenarios, simple to use.

Good language app with useful scenarios, simple to use. But the audio feature is not good. It often misses sounds, making you repeat many times, and this happens on various devices with or without headphones. Also, there’s a story section where you need to speak your answers, but the story flow is confusing since it feels disorganized. For instance, the camping trip with a dog and brad and apples.

    What a sham! Good company

What a sham! Good company, but speech recognition needs fixin'. Same old deal for six years. Gave up on it five years back. Only gripe. RS teaches like immersion, cool. But we're grown-ups now, right? We're smarter. RS ignores that. No explanations, ever. Want RS? Get a grammar book too. Understand how things work, be the boss.

    At first, it seemed good.

At first, it seemed good. Even though I know some French, I got annoyed by unclear directions. I can't figure out how to connect the exercises. Gender stuff confuses me, and exercises don't help. I don't see progress. Won't subscribe after trial. Sorry!

    Just got blasted with

Just got blasted with promos from Rosetta Stone. Never buying from them again. Bought Italian 10 years ago for £300, but it stopped working. Customer service said buy again for £200. Furious. Sour taste. Never spending on them again.

So just to let you know, I’m not too far from a N4

So just to let you know, I’m not too far from a N4 level in Japanese and I spent three months in a language school with a Japanese family. My pronunciation is quite good. I think the concept of this app is good, but the problem is that the voice recognition is very poor, whether on PC, tablet, phone, or with earphones or microphone. I pronounce every exercise very well, but the results are often wrong, even though my pronunciation is the same as the exercise. The second issue is that I started as a beginner and then quickly increased the level, but nothing changed. 15 minutes to learn easy stuff. I just want sentences, but I’m forced to break down each word sound by sound. That might be fine for a beginner, but I’ve already reached intermediate level. In short, if you know some basics of Japanese and have some vocabulary, avoid this app and train with podcasts. I recommend the (BUSUU) app instead, it’s much better and cheaper. Very disappointed with Rosetta Stone. The only app I’ve had problems with regarding my microphone, which works perfectly fine.
