I've come across a few people on that website over the years. The roommates were okay too. BUT the customer service is really really bad. THEY DON'T HELP AT ALL! They respond to you, but they can't help with anything you need. They charge you with no refunds, even if you talk to them beforehand or if you get the same person again. Once your subscription ends, you get lots of messages. When you subscribe again, nobody seems to message you at all. Weird, right? BUT IT'S REALLY TRUE. Would I suggest the site? Yeah. They check your messages and posts though.

It's not clear how to post listings. I dont see how to send myself notifications for leads. I missed dozens of leads due to lack of notifications.

The company was okay, but I didn't appreciate not knowing I'd have to pay to get replies to my messages.

I think Roomster has some good features

I think Roomster has some good features, but paying nearly $12 just to reply to possible roommates isn't great. It feels like a ripoff if the people I connect with aren't suitable, and I end up throwing money away on this service.

This site is a joke. The whole idea of it being free is just a smoke screen. Now I can't even get out of this page because the dumb date field is all messed up.

The one thing I will say is make sure to confirm with someone that your subscription has been canceled. Despite what they say - deactivating or suspending your account does not stop them from charging you. They also say you can cancel just by clicking cancel but no such button exist. I do not recommend.
