I bought a frame for a baseball lineup card

I bought a frame for a baseball lineup card from a minor league team for my son. It looked great. A few weeks later, my daughter got a lineup card from the same team (total fluke) and we wanted to match the frame to my son's, as it looked so good. I placed the order and got the frame as I did the first one, but this time it seemed the frame was made hastily as it had glue on the front and one of the sides just wasn't aligned as it should have been. Maybe it shifted in transit? I went to the PF website and started a chat. It was early morning and didn't expect anyone to be on yet, and they weren't - not a big deal. I left my questions, included pictures of the frame, etc. 2 hours later, I had an email telling me they appreciated me sending pictures, they apologized for the poor craftsmanship, and assured me a new order would be processed at no charge and sent out immediately. In less than a week the frame was hanging on my little girls bedroom wall - perfectly matching the first and giving the professional baseball lineup card a worthy home. So, I am SO happy with my replacement frame from pictureframes.com! The first one (I’ve ordered four in total now) just wasn’t the quality I have come to expect from them, but this one has redeemed their product in my eyes! Nice tight miters, beautiful edges…just a first class job! I love it when a company stands behind their work and makes it right if it isn’t. I don’t hesitate one bit to recommend pictureframes.com to anyone in the market for a picture frame. All of my frames are for original oil paintings created by a dear friend who has since passed away, so they are sentimentally special to me. These frames are amazing and really show off his work!

I've ordered several times from this site and I only have good things to say about their service. The frames are great quality for the price and come in various sizes. Delivery is usually faster than they say and I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service too. The first frame I ordered arrived a bit scratched (which happens sometimes with all framers, believe it or not, it's not something absolutely outragous, I have lots of experience with this) and they quickly offered me a full refund without even asking for the frame to be sent back.

I ordered a custom frame with the right size for my canvas art but didn't consider the depth. I'm so grateful customer service noticed the depth issue and checked how thick my canvas was. Once they realized the frame I chose wouldn’t fit, they cancelled my order and refunded me right away. I will definitely come back for any future framing needs! Thanks for all your help and advice!

Damaged order promptly replaced

I ordered a very large frame and when it arrived, the acrylic (plexiglass) was broken. I emailed the company and they said they would send a new one. So I was expecting a new sheet of acrylic, but they sent me a new frame as well. Pleasantly surprised and very pleased with their prompt, caring service.

The frame and mat were larger than expected.

The frame and mat were larger than expected. I had clearly stated the dimensions needed for an unframed painting, but they sent sizes for the displayed image, which were too big. The acrylic ended up being slightly oversized, causing it to bow within the frame, necessitating recutting. The wire provided was too short because it matched the inner frame width, not the outer. However, they quickly offered a helpful replacement and solution. Decent customer service indeed. Thanks!

Poor Quality - Expensive Price

Just opened my frame. It was packaged well but the quality of the frame is sub-par for spending over $250 for a 24.5 by 33.5 frame. The wood isn't even fully painted and the joints are not tight. The metal pieces that 'bend' to hold the picture in place are laughable - you would think there would be something more substantial. I am upset with myself for not checking this company out better before ordering.

I couldn't tell frame width from picture width or perhaps frame depth. Finally, I just gave up when I felt I was close and went to checkout. We will see what arrives in the mail. Unable to tell the difference between a picture or whatever else the choice was. I had already uploaded a JPEG file. Ideally, there would be someone that I could text, and the person would help out.

I placed an order on November 9th, and it was processed and shipped. However, I encountered issues tracking the parcel through UPS. After reaching out to customer service on November 17th, I was informed that the package was considered lost. I requested a new frame to be cut and shipped, and the response from customer service was prompt. I'm now waiting for further updates.

The frame was priced

The frame was priced quite reasonably...but. That I couldn't order it unassembled added an oversized shipping surcharge added on to the standard shipping charge came close to doubling the cost of the frame. Plus that I was once able to call in to order a frame was a boone to this 85 year-old who has been hacked more than once ordering online. Needless to say no need to send me updates or catalogs as I will be ordering my frames elsewhere.
