The design tool online was pretty easy to use

The design tool online was pretty easy to use, had lots of options, and the prices were competitive. Our finished product cost about half of what California Closets charged. The materials came on time and were in good shape, with clear instructions for putting it together. The drawers work great and the matte black pulls match the rest of our house. We hired someone to install it and had to make a few adjustments because I measured wrong...just human error, lol.

Installation wasn't as easy as some reviews report but once we got the jest, things moved faster. Overall we would work with them again.

Nice one! Placed the order on a Thursday morning, and bam – it shipped out by Friday afternoon, making its grand entrance at your NC abode by Tuesday. Packed up all neat and tidy on a pallet, with a slick packing list showing which boxes belong to which units. That's some efficient shipping game right there!

Overall great experience. Tom Chayn was great in helping with the design despite me asking for multiple changes. Packages arrived on time and they were quick to replace one piece that arrived damaged. Install was easy and the end result looks great.

Overall, the modulars were mostly well built to exact engineering sizes. I wish the material was stronger. If you're not careful during assembly, the boards might crack. I had to engineer a fix for a broken corner. For the tower modules, the base accessories are necessary because they're heavy. I bought extra screws for all modules as I wasn't confident the provided amount could support the weight of the modulars and clothes on the wall studs.

Modular Closets was okay in addressing my concerns and questions. The product was decent quality and did its job fine. I'm satisfied I bought from them. I would've given a higher rating if the product arrived on time and wasn't damaged. Dealing with their delivery service was a headache.

We did resolve the issues, but the assembly process lacked the smoothness we expected. Additionally, we ended up with several leftover parts, which turned out to be manageable once we grasped the situation.

The materials I received from

The materials I received from this company didn't match what I saw in their videos. Instead of the sturdy dovetail joint drawers, I got panels held together with screws, feeling cheap. The supposed plywood turned out to be particle board with a melamine coating that easily chips. I was drawn to this company because of their videos, so it was disappointing to receive inferior materials. The designer suggested additional features, like toe kicks, which ended up causing problems with my heating duct. It was a hassle to get refunded for these unusable materials. However, the installation process went smoothly, and the final result looks decent. I especially liked the hanging rods and pant hangers I purchased as upgrades.

Yikes, it's a labeling mess

Yikes, it's a labeling mess with these boxes from the get-go. Thank goodness for a handyman to navigate the chaos because none of those labels matched up. And to add salt to the wound, asked for a specific delivery day, and what do they do? Drop it off many days later when you're MIA, leaving it to chill outside. Talk about a delivery fail.
