For anyone who’s looking to learn Spanish no matter your skill level, Jelisa is the best teacher and really all I needed on my journey!! She’ll tailor her lessons to fit your level and help you achieve your goals. I personally aimed to be as advanced as I could be, and after working with her for nearly 3 years, I can honestly say I’ve made it! Jelisa is a fantastic tutor because she’s understanding and will design the class to match your learning style. I’ve improved my speaking, reading, and writing with her help. She’s a wonderful, fun, and sweet person to work with, and I would HIGHLY recomend her to anyone searching for a tutor!!!

Jelisa is a good Spanish teacher

Jelisa is a good Spanish teacher, but there are some areas for improvement. While she is patient and explains the material clearly, I sometimes found her pace a bit slow. Her pronunciation of words is decent, but it could be clearer at times. Although she introduces elements of Dominican culture, I would have liked more variety in the lessons. I’ve been learning with her for about 3 years, and I can communicate, but I still have some difficulties. I suggest giving her a try!

I have learned Spanish for about 2 years with Jelisa. The structure of the lessons can be any way you prefer. For instance, we talk for about 45 minutes and then go over the homework from the last class. She is a good teacher and I would recomend her.
