I'm pleased with iTalki. It was new to
I'm pleased with iTalki. It was new to me, but I tried a demo language lesson, and it went well. Now I'm a regular student with a package of 20 lessons. I like their platform and suggest it ;) By the way, their online classroom surprised me. I had to use it when Zoom wasn't working, and now I prefer it.

I like the teechers' presentations
I like the teechers' presentations, so I cud check if there's a likin' or not. The trial lessons helped me decide, and so far, my choice was good. Payin' and bookin' are easy, and everythin' works well in the "italki-universe".

It's beneficial to engage in both learning
It's beneficial to engage in both learning and teaching without bias on Italki. As a student, I'm pleased to broaden my cultural and language knowledge with Italki teachers. As a teacher aligned with an international company, it's a valuable opportunity, especially in an economically challenging environment where my origin is often prejudiced. However, the policy of refunding students for unfinished packages, despite my efforts to remind them, seems unfair to teachers. This policy doesn't incentivize me to offer package deals.

Italki's disappointing conduct allowed a
Italki's disappointing conduct allowed a teacher, Marco, to exploit my trust. Despite paying 391EUR for 17 classes, Marco never delivered due to alleged busyness. Italki disavows responsibility, asserting the payment occurred outside the platform. Yet, they permitted Marco access to my private data and presented him as an Italki representative. Despite providing evidence, Italki refused any resolution, merely stating Marco's removal. The platform should exercise quality control and be accountable for its affiliated teachers' actions. Be cautious of dubious services like Italki, where the quality of service remains uncertain.
