Three months after buying
Three months after buying a 3D printer for school, it starts to give errors and failures, from what I see on the internet they are common failures for this printer.
I write to them via chat and this is the first solution they give me:
1. Restart the machine and try heating again. If the heating is normal, it may be an occasional problem caused by the machine crashing.
2. If the heating still fails, observe whether the LED next to the E1 terminal on the motherboard is lit up from the right side heat dissipation port of the chassis when heating. If no LED lights up, there is a problem with the motherboard. Replace the motherboard.
3. If the LED lights up normally, heat the heating block (using a hair dryer or lighter) and pay attention to any temperature changes. If there is no change, there may be a problem with the thermistor, and further investigation of the thermistor is necessary.
4. If there is a change in temperature, remove the plastic cover on the right side of the extruder and check if the heating tube terminals are connected. If the two legs of the heating tube are not connected, there is a problem with the heating tube. Replace the heating tube.
5. If the two legs of the heating tube are connected, check the voltage (DC mode) during heating. If the voltage drops significantly below 24V, it may be a power supply issue and further investigation of the power supply is needed.
6. Check the resistance of the heating tube. The resistance of the heating tube should be approximately 9 ohms.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
I tell them that I am not an expert in printers and that it is under warranty, they tell me to send it packaged back to the warehouse, which is in nothing more and nothing less than Poland, the shipping matters more to me than the printer. so I'll have to eat the printer with potatoes.
DO NOT BUY HERE. I feel cheated and my students are sad because they can't use their new 3D printer.
