    Man, dealing with FanShield was

Man, dealing with FanShield was a real headache. I tried getting a claim approved, but it felt like hitting a brick wall every time. Lucky me, I used my credit card for the purchase, so now I can dispute the charges and hopefully get my money back. Seriously though, if you're thinking about using their service, do yourself a favor and read the terms and conditions super carefully. It would help if FanShield spelled out exactly what their insurance covers and what it doesn't. That way, folks won't get caught off guard. Just sharing my experience here so others can avoid the same hassle.

    We took a trip to

We took a trip to a theme park, excited for some fun, and I got tickets for 3 fast passes for some family and 3 thrill seeker passes for me and my two kids. Everything was going well until my grandma had a fall. My family rushed to help her, and we decided to stay and celebrate my kid's first year of school. But then things got tricky. I tried to get a refund for the unused tickets, but without the fanshield insurance, they just wouldn’t budge. Fanshield didn't help either—they denied my request. Next time, I’ll skip the extra insurance and just buy the tickets straight. What a hassle!

    I can't believe the mess

I can't believe the mess we went through trying to see & Juliet in Atlanta at the Fox Theater. My daughter bought tickets for three nights, and wouldn't you know it, we got hit with the worst winter weather that weekend. One of the shows was even canceled. We live four hours away, and the police were telling everyone not to travel unless it was an emergency. But when we asked FanShield for a refund, they flat out refused because we didn't have proof of road closures. It was so frustrating and stressful, and we ended up losing all that money for nothing. Such a terrible experience!

    I was pretty disappointed

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the customer service at this venue. My wife was recovering from a serious health issue and couldn’t attend the show we had tickets for. We even provided proper documentation from the hospital, but they still refused to give us a refund. I mean, I get that policies are in place for a reason, but this felt like a pretty legitimate reason for not being able to make it. It’s frustrating when you’re dealing with something so serious and the venue can’t be a bit more understanding. Kinda makes you think twice about buying tickets from them again.

This experience has been a nightmare

I can't believe what a mess this whole situation has been. I sent over all the docs they wanted in pdf, like they asked, but they keep asking for them again in pdf. It's like they're just trying to stall or something. I'm seriously doubting if I'll ever see my refund; it's been weeks and no response to my emails. The event date came and went, and those tickets just sat there unused. It's super frustrating when you do everything right and still get nowhere. Feels like I'm being scammed. I'm just a regular customer trying to sort things out, but this experience has been a nightmare.

    When my husband needed to

When my husband needed to see a doctor, I filed a claim with this company. The doctor gave us a handwritten note saying he couldn't do any activities for a week. Within half an hour, they told me they couldn't "verify my documentation." I sent exactly what the doctor gave us and the receipt for the tickets we bought for a family show. I even offered to have the doctor fax them directly. They didn't reply, just said again that the statement couldn't be verified. It's clear they don't want to pay out anything. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

    I thought getting a refund

I thought getting a refund would be simple, but it was a nightmare. The process is way too long and complicated. They don't tell you upfront how hard it will be. Every step felt like a new obstacle, with endless requests for the same documents and long waits for any response. It honestly feels like they're trying to wear you down so you just give up. The lack of clear information and the constant delays are just too much. If you think you might need a refund, be really careful with this company. It feels like they’re more interested in keeping your money than helping you out.

    I booked a holiday stay

I booked a holiday stay for the end of December, wanting a little break until the New Year. But at the end of October, I had a family emergency and became my bedridden mom's only caregiver. Tried cancelling, but they said I needed a doctor’s note. Sent that, but now they want another letter saying I can't make it physically. It's like jumping through hoops. Can't afford to lose the money, so now I’ve got to find someone to help my mom just so I can go. Can’t even call them directly. Honestly, it's frustrating and stressful. If you’re considering this place, think twice!

    I got insurance from this

I got insurance from this company for a bunch of my events, thinking it'd be worth it. Turns out, it's just a scam. Had to miss my last race due to a sudden work emergency. Thought it was no biggie because I had insurance. Went through the whole process with Fan Shield, and they denied my claim. Even had to ask my boss for a signed letter, which was super awkward, and they still said no. Apparently, you need something extreme like a death certificate to get your money back. Definitely not wasting any more money on this useless coverage. Avoid this company if you can.

    I can't believe the hassle

I can't believe the hassle I went through with them. I sent a signed note from my doctor explaining why I couldn't make it to an event, and they still wanted another document! It's like they don't trust anything unless it's in triplicate. I felt like I was jumping through hoops for no reason. I've never dealt with such a frustrating process before. Why make it so hard for customers? It's not like I enjoy missing events. Definitely not going to use them again. It's just too much trouble for something that should be simple. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere

I had the most frustrating experience with Fanshield. Bought their insurance thinking it was a good idea, but turns out it’s just a big waste. They make it nearly impossible to get any sort of reimbursement unless you have a mountain of medical records or, heaven forbid, you’re no longer around. Felt like they just didn’t care at all. Honestly, I’d rate them less than zero if I could. It’s such a disappointment, and I regret spending my time and money on it. If you’re considering them, I’d seriously think twice. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

    I had an issue

I recently had an issue with my son's ticket where we thought we'd be covered if he got sick. Turns out, the coverage only kicks in if you visit the doctor. So frustrating! Imagine having to spend more on a doctor's visit than the ticket itself, just to show proof of my son's diarrhea. It's like, what's the point of having coverage if it doesn't actually help when you need it? Felt a bit misled by the policy details. I get that rules are rules, but it just didn’t seem fair. It's a lesson learned for me about reading the fine print more closely next time.

    Terrible service

I can't believe how terrible this service turned out to be. Bought it for a ski trip in Wyoming, thinking it would cover my family. When high winds and a travel advisory hit, we decided to avoid the dangerous roads. Thought we'd be covered, right? Wrong. They refused to refund us because the area wasn’t in a "state of emergency." I made a responsible call for my family's safety, and they did nothing to help. This company is a joke. Never using them again and I warn everyone else to stay away. Total waste of money and beyond disappointing.

    I had the worst experience

I had the worst experience with this company. My apartment flooded and I had all the maintenance records to prove it, but they denied my claim because I didn’t have a police report. Seriously, who calls the police for a flood? It's ridiculous! I provided all the evidence they asked for, but they still refused to help. I feel totally scammed. They’re just looking for any excuse to not pay out. Save yourself the headache and stay away from these guys. They don’t care about their customers at all. Just a total waste of money and time.

I had a pretty bad experience

I had a pretty bad experience with FanShield. I tried to make a claim because of a really tough family issue, but they said it wasn't one of their "official reasons" for paying out. It felt like they just didn't care about my situation. On top of that, it took them two whole weeks to get back to me. I did talk to a customer service lady, and I felt for her – she’s got a tough job. Honestly, it’s better to save your money or find another company. There’s a reason FanShield gets such terrible reviews. Not worth the hassle at all.

    I got a Fanshield warranty

I got a Fanshield warranty for the fastpass at Kings Island because, you know, things happen. And wouldn’t you know it, my son got sick – some stomach bug – and couldn't go. Figured we'd be covered, right? Wrong. Tried to get a refund, but they needed a doctor's note. I mean, who goes to the doctor for a stomach bug that clears up in a day? So frustrating. Felt like we were just throwing money away on that warranty. It’s supposed to give you peace of mind, but instead, it just added more stress. Not what I signed up for at all.

    I was really disappointed with

I was really disappointed with the insurance I bought. Their marketing made it seem like I'd be covered if I couldn't run because of an injury. Well, I got injured, but since I didn’t go to a doctor, they refused to give me a refund. They never made that part clear in their ads. I mean, it was an obvious injury, but apparently, that's not enough for them. If I had known I needed a doctor’s note, I wouldn't have wasted my money on this insurance. It feels like they’re just trying to trick people with their deceptive practices.

    A scam this service

I can't believe what a scam this service turned out to be. I thought I was buying something to help me, but it was all lies. These people just take your money and run. No way am I ever using them again, and you bet I'm telling everyone I know to steer clear. It's disgusting how they prey on people in need. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. I can't believe how frustrating

I can't believe how frustrating this has been. I had to cancel an event because my plans changed unexpectedly. You'd think that would be enough reason for a refund, right? Nope. They wanted a formal letter explaining everything. I bought insurance specifically for situations like this, but apparently, that’s not good enough for them. I paid extra to be covered, and now they refuse to give me my money back. It feels like such a scam. Honestly, I’m really disappointed and won’t be using their services again.

I had a really tough experience with this company. I had to provide documentation for my family member's passing to get a refund, as I had to attend the funeral on the date of my reservation. They flat out refused because of the exact date my family member passed away, which made no sense to me. They showed no empathy and wouldn't even let me talk to a supervisor. I bought two concert tickets for $200, but the whole experience was a mess. No confirmation email ever came, which left me worried. When I tried to get a refund, I found out there were all these restrictions that weren't clear when I bought the insurance. It's like a bad joke. Worse still, there's no way to contact them by phone.
