Eventbrite is okay for booking tickets. We had problems booking. They took our money okay. We couldn't find our tickets anywhere. My husband spent over 1 hour looking for the tickets. Called and talked to an unhelpful lady who wasn't interested. Soon after, our tickets came through. Avoid this company if possible.

Eventbrite Australia needs caution. Got scammed, contacted them, got referred to complaints email. Denied liability. Money not the problem. Issue: fake scam event on their site, no regulation. Never trusting Eventbrite. Will spread bad reputation. 1 star justified.

Don't waste ur money here, they sell expensive tickets and if event's moved, no refund if u can't go. Their rules don't help u, and staff are mean and slow.

I bought a ticket for an event titled "The ultimate networking opportunity of the year" in Bonita Springs, FL MONTHS ago. Having purchased around 16-25 events this year due to my job in medical sales, I found myself laid off 3 months ago. I needed this event to secure a new job, but when I logged into the app, there was no ticket visible. I spent the morning from 9am trying to get help from the chatbot, then called several times throughout the day, leaving messages and speaking to two different representatives who were unhelpful. An hour and a half before the event, I yelled into the phone, "I NEED ASSISTANCE, GET ME A HUMAN, THE EVENT IS IN AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!" The man on the other end simply told me to repeat what I had already done. I missed the event and will never buy a ticket from these guys again.

I hosted an online event using Eventbrite, and the whole process was filled with difficulties and letdowns. I’m not happy I chose their platform. The event hosting software they provide is below average. It was hard for attendees to navigate and access. The ticket sales feature also didn’t work as expected, and I ended up just hoping the code would function. Their marketing plan is misleading. DON’T sign up for their marketing. They’ll charge you ridiculous fees, claim tons of “hits,” and keep charging you after your event has finished. Watch out for Eventbrite.

AVOID - DON'T USE THIS APP OR COMPANY. I wish I could give it zero stars - that would be more fitting. After contacting the event organizer about buying the wrong tickets, they first said they could assist, but when I asked for a refund, they stopped responding completely. I won't use this app or company again and will warn everyone I know to stay away. Awful customer service, they simply ignore you.

Do not buy tickets from Eventbrite. I am waiting for a refund for two tickets and still haven't got it. The event planner can't help because Eventbrite won’t give my money back. The refund form doesn't work at all, it just reloads every time! Their customer support won’t even provide an email to make a complaint. I’m going to report them to Trading Standarts.

Completely terrible company

Completely terrible company. They take your cash, cancel the event you booked long ago. No refund since they claim they reschedule. Awful service. Total rip off and money grabbng.

Rating less than 1 star. Purchased tickets but had to cancel due to medical reasons. Tried contacting organizers through Eventbrite 20 times, no response. Caution to buyers!
