    If I could give zero

If I could give zero stars, I would. Paid for a subscription and searched broadly in my area. Quickly noticed there aren't many members. I used Live Chat to express my dissatisfaction and request a cancellation. The advisor suggested I widen my search and "get out of my comfort zone." She said I only need one match and pointed me to some dating tips. I found it patronizing and said so. No response. They downgraded my account and refunded my subscription but kept £65. When I complained, they told me to read the t&cs. They kept my account open, so it looks like they have more members. I still get emails about 'likes' from subscribers, but I can't see profiles or reply. A week later, they offered me a 60% discount for a new subscription. Feels like a scam.

    I jumped into eHarmony thinking

I jumped into eHarmony thinking it was the place to find my soulmate, but I was pretty let down. The site brags about millions of profiles and some genius matching system, but I barely found any potential matches. Seriously, only about 15 people popped up in Greater Manchester, and just 80 across the whole UK? With so many people around, that's just sad. It felt like most profiles were just sitting there, gathering dust. Makes you wonder if some of them are even real. Once you realize the user base is basically non-existent, you're already locked into a six-month plan that drains your wallet. It's frustrating to feel stuck and out of pocket for something that doesn't deliver. Feels like they’re taking advantage of folks just searching for connection.

    It’s frustrating

So, there's this thing going on with eHarmony that's got me scratching my head. I've been a paying member, hoping to find some genuine connections. But lately, I've been getting likes from profiles that disappear faster than a rabbit in a magic show! Each time I tried to check them out, I got a message saying eHarmony removed the profile. No, it wasn’t the user. Weird, right? When I reached out to eHarmony, they couldn't give me a straight answer. It’s frustrating, and honestly feels like they’re trying to pull a fast one on us. I’ve taken it to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, hoping they’ll look into it. If you've had similar issues, maybe consider reporting it too. Let's make some noise and see if we can get some answers!

When I first dipped my toes into online dating, I thought eHarmony was the golden ticket to finding my perfect match. But boy, was I wrong. The pool of potential partners felt more like a puddle. Their suggestion to widen my search to other countries? Not exactly practical for someone who believes in meeting people in real life. After some trial and error, I stumbled upon Plenty of Fish and even gave Tinder a shot, and to my surprise, they offered way more options. That's how I met my boyfriend! Yet, I'm still shackled to eHarmony's subscription, paying for a service I don't use. Lesson learned: look for platforms that offer flexibility and a genuine choice. Save yourself the headache and money—eHarmony isn't all it's cracked up to be.

    I joined this dating app

I joined this dating app earlier in the year, but after a couple of weeks, I realized it wasn't for me. I thought I had canceled the auto-renewal right away, but I got a nasty surprise in July—a £490 charge on my Amex! I never got any emails warning me about the renewal, and when I checked, the auto-renew was still on. I called Amex, and they told me to wait for the charge to go through before disputing. Eharmony wasn't helpful at first, saying they couldn't do anything. After I pushed back and pointed out the lack of reminders, they refunded half but refused to do more. I’m absolutely certain I canceled, but they just wouldn't budge. This experience was really frustrating and left me with no trust in their service.

I tried eHarmony, hoping to meet someone genuine. Instead, I got bombarded with endless "likes" from profiles that vanished as soon as I clicked on them. It felt like a setup to keep me subscribed without ever connecting with real people. When I reached out to their support, all I got back was a generic response that didn’t address any of my concerns. It was like they didn’t even read my message—just a copy-paste job. The whole experience seemed like a scheme to make money through fake interactions and nonexistent profiles. If you're considering eHarmony, save your money. It’s just a cycle of phantom accounts and automated replies. I’m taking this up with UK Trading Standards because this shouldn’t be allowed.

    Be cautious

I thought I’d give this company a try, seemed reputable enough. Turns out, you can only create a basic profile for free, but it's kinda useless since you can't see or talk to anyone. And don't even get me started on their customer service—strictly online and no phone support. I shot them an email hoping for some help, but all I got was a copy-paste job of their terms, totally ignoring my actual problem. They refused to refund the £65 I spent on an in-depth profile I never even used. To add insult to injury, they canceled my membership without any refund. Just a heads up: some profiles seem sketchy and the company’s policies feel more like cash traps. Be cautious, especially with those sneaky auto-renewals.

    I've been having a blast

I've been having a blast on AFFpassion.com, getting way more contacts and replies than I ever did on Eharmony. Honestly, Eharmony's been going downhill. They just lure you in with subscriptions and then make it a nightmare to cancel. I mean, once you figure out there's nothing exciting there, you'd think leaving would be easy, right? Nope! They keep hitting you with those sneaky auto-renewal charges. And good luck trying to untick that box—they don’t care. It’s like they just want your money. If you're thinking about Eharmony, do yourself a favor and steer clear. And if you're already stuck, call them up and make sure they actually cancel your membership. Save your time and money for something better!

    I thought I'd try out

I thought I'd try out this dating site for a month, but I ended up roped into a six-month plan by accident. Not my usual cautious self, I guess. When I realized the mistake, I reached out to customer support, but they wouldn't let me cancel even though it was just two weeks in. The matches were disappointing, to say the least. I went through this super long questionnaire that seemed pointless because the profiles I got had nothing in common with me. Many were outdated or fake. Some guys who messaged me were just throwing darts, hoping to hit something real. I even ended up comforting some of them who were new to online dating and shocked by the cost of this useless site. I'm so frustrated—stay away!

    Honestly, my experience with this

Honestly, my experience with this company felt just like dealing with any other sketchy dating site. They lure you in with flashy profiles that vanish or reappear just to get you to stay. You spend hours filling out a pointless questionnaire, which costs a fortune by the hour, only to get matches that tell you nothing meaningful. Like, knowing someone likes cruises isn’t exactly the deep connection I'm looking for. It’s a pricey service that delivers very little, and you have to pay upfront before realizing it’s not worth it. They even block your access if you try to cancel or dispute charges. No cooling-off period, either. Just feels like they’re taking advantage of people’s loneliness. Not cool.

I came across this site with a Google ratin

So, I came across this site with a Google rating of 9.9 out of 10 and thought it would be great. Boy, was I wrong. Most people are really unhappy with it, and now I understand why. I signed up for a 3-month subscription for £50, but then they charged me £95.70 afterward, even after I unsubscribed. My bank couldn't help because once you hit that subscribe button, you're trapped by their lawyers. I only got two messages in three months and a few "hearts"—totally not worth it. I live in the London area and felt so frustrated. Google’s rating is totally misleading. Seriously, stay away from this site unless you're a lawyer. I wish I had donated that money to charity instead.

    Pretty disappointed

Man, I gotta tell you about my experience with this dating site. I decided to give it a shot and was pretty disappointed. You set up all these preferences, like a 50-mile distance and occasional smokers, hoping to find someone decent, but the options were super limited. And even when you do match with someone, it's like they're ghosts—no one ever responds! They lure you in with this enticing one-year deal, but if you want out during the cooling-off period, don't expect a full refund. It's like they trap you. Honestly, you'd be better off sticking to the free apps out there. They're not perfect, but at least you're not throwing money away. Good luck finding your person!

Be very careful with this site, everyone!

I signed up for three months, hoping to meet someone interesting. But seriously, nothing happened. Maybe got two messages, and they were both from some sketchy old guys. Then, out of nowhere, they charged me £95.70 after those three useless months. I immediately texted them to cancel my subscription, but it was impossible to unsubscribe. Their customer service number didn’t work at all. I complained to my bank, HSBC, and luckily, they refunded me. I even had to get a new credit card. But then, yesterday, I noticed another £95.70 charge on my new card! How is this even allowed in the UK? I haven’t used the site in months. Be very careful with this site, everyone!

I tried out the "free" account and quickly realized it’s pretty useless. You can't really see or do anything. So, I opted for the paid service because they had a 14-day cancellation window. But, it turns out, even if you cancel, they still charge you for this £130 personality test, though they say they'll reduce it as a "goodwill gesture." There's no option to skip the test, so you’re stuck with it! Canceling is a nightmare too – you need an extra password and have to email them explaining why you want to cancel. The profiles are nothing special, just like any other dating app, and even with a 100-mile search, there weren't many options. Total letdown! 🙄

    It’s not worth the trouble

I gotta tell you, my mom decided to try out this website, but it didn't go well. She started getting messages that really bothered her, and wanted out. But guess what? There's no phone number to call, just emails. We tried reaching out multiple times to cancel her account, but it's like talking to a wall. The responses felt robotic, like they weren't even reading our concerns. And the worst part? It automatically renews, so we're kinda stuck. It's frustrating not being able to talk to someone directly to sort this out. Just wanted to share our experience in case anyone else is considering signing up. Be careful with this one, it’s not worth the trouble.

I thought I'd found the perfect service, but oh boy, was I wrong! As someone with ADHD, I was drawn to their promise of "cancel anytime," thinking it was flexible and easy. Turns out, that only applies after the subscription period ends. Talk about misleading! When I reached out to their support team, I got the same old response about terms and conditions. It's like they just don't care about making things clear for folks who might struggle a bit more with details. Honestly, it feels like they're just out to get money from people like me who have a hard time navigating tricky systems. Really disappointing experience and definitely not what I expected.

    My frustrating experience

Let me tell you about my frustrating experience with this company. I signed up on their site, thinking it was just a regular registration. Turns out, I unknowingly filled out some personality profile, which they later claimed was a report. Anyway, I realized within 24 hours that this site wasn't for me, and since there’s a 14-day cooling-off period, I thought canceling would be straightforward. Nope! They hit me with a £65 charge. Feels like a total scam. Plus, the search results showed only four people in my area. Really not worth the money. I'm trying to get a refund, but I have a feeling I’m gonna be ignored. Just save your cash and steer clear.

I signed up for this dating app, thinking I'd finally meet someone special. You can't even see or chat with anyone unless you go premium, so I paid up, hoping it'd be worth it. But guess what? No matches nearby, not even close. Just one person over 100 miles away reached out. I cancelled within 6 days, but it took ages because customer service ignored me. When I finally got through, they still charged me £55! I complained, but they hid behind some contract I supposedly agreed to. How is it fair to charge £65 for a 6-day trial? Total scam. Honestly, I thought EHarmony was going to be the ultimate matchmaking site, but it totally missed the mark for me. I was expecting some advanced algorithm to find me the perfect match, but it felt like they were just throwing random profiles at me. Like, why would I be paired with a long-haul trucker with certain political views? That’s not my vibe at all. The site felt like a ghost town—hardly any views on my profile and barely any messages. I prefer to let others make the first move, and that’s worked fine on other sites like Match. But EHarmony? It was a total letdown. I canceled my subscription pretty quickly. I tried eharmony hoping to find something special, but ended up regretting it big time. I signed up for the premium membership, then changed my mind within the 14-day grace period. Still, they found a way to charge me a ridiculous amount. They sent me this email saying I’d be charged £65 for a personality report that usually costs £130. What? I never saw any mention of this cost. And when I looked at the report, it was so generic and inaccurate—definitely not worth anything close to £130. I feel totally misled and ripped off. My advice? Skip eharmony, and if you do join, avoid the personality report and read all the fine print carefully.

Within two weeks, I realized I might be better off just meeting people in random places. Decided to cancel, only to find out I'd be charged over £60 for some so-called personality profile.
