Man, what a mess with
Man, what a mess with DM! Bought these boots thinkin' they'd last me forever, you know, 'cause that's what they're known for, right? But no. Barely six months in, and they're leaking like a sieve in just a bit of rain. Shot off an email on the 31st of May to let 'em know. Next day, they send me a return form. Cool, I thought, maybe they'll sort it out.
Waited till the 14th of June, and they come back with the ol' "wear and tear" excuse. Seriously? I've barely worn them! I fire back, saying I ain't happy with that. Silence till the 22nd, so I nudge 'em again. Still nothing by the 5th of July. Finally, they reply saying they can't help. What? They've got a 1-year guarantee!
By now, I'm fuming. Told 'em to send my boots back. July 11th rolls around, still no boots. Emailed again, and again, nothing till the 22nd. Finally, on the 24th, someone named Malvina replies with attitude, telling me to use protective spray. She even had the nerve to type "Maybe?" with seven question marks, like I'm an idiot. Then she schools me on the difference between waterproof and water-resistant.
Global brand, they say. With customer service like this? It's no wonder they're sinking. Heard they got some ex-Apple CEO to save them by 2025. Good luck with that. The boots aren't what they used to be, all cheap and flimsy but still pricey. No way I'm spending my money on DM again. Just a total letdown.
