Terrible experience

I ordered a freezer part from Ransom Spare Parts over 2 weeks ago. They confirmed dispatch and gave a delivery date, which came and went. Customer service then provided another delivery date and 100% guaranteed it had been dispatched from their warehouse. That delivery date came and went. I was then told it was out of stock, but a new delivery date was given, with a guarantee that it had been dispatched directly from the manufacturers warehouse. Despite the fact that the manufacturers website said this part was out of stock. Of course no delivery. They then said the order was cancelled and I would receive a refund. Nearly one week later, they have confirmed that in fact the order has just been cancelled today, not last week when it was confirmed to me the order had been cancelled, and I will have to wait another few days for the refund. Terrible, terrible service, recommend to avoid.

Zero complaints procedure, zero email response

All is well UNTIL you have an issue! Purchased a washing machine door seal that failed withing 3 months of fitting - and the problems start. Searched their website for any 'complaints' contact info - zippo. Searched for email address, found 2 - that dont work, searched for email of chief executive (***), found out he wont provide that. Contacted by email anyway from his details on Companies House - no response to my complaint and refund request. Ransom Spares has zero customer service/complaints process, think before using such a company.
