The Steam price of big company games has been way too high lately, even though the quality of games has been dropping. If the price was about 25% cheaper, I would’ve bought it on Steam. Out of curiosity, I checked CD key prices, and found YUPLAY selling the game I wanted, at a price I was okay with. Bought a key from them, got it a week before release, and used it. Fast and simple, no issues. If I waited for a Steam sale, it’d probably take forever, and it would only be around 10-20% cheaper. So YUPLAY was the only good choice. I’ve heard game companies might raise prices even more? If that happens, I won’t pay them. I can wait forever.

I bought a code for FF14 DawnTrail, but I ended up typing it in wrong, my bad. I had a bit of trouble because of how confusing the process was, but that’s on me. No extra charges, what you see is what you pay, which I think is great. They were quick to respond when I made the mistake, really helped me out. Decent overall but the manual review process really bugged me. My item was marked for instant delivery, but my order got ignored for an unknown period because of "reasons." It’s not just the wait, it’s the lack of updates in a market where trust matters. Good site, but I’m not sure I’ll buy from them again myself.

Cheap, not cheerful

Unfortunately I had to bare the nightmare of their website beyond their website's "add to cart" feature. I recently purchased a game, and within 2 days it gives me an error and is unable to start, even after trying all sorts. I of course write in a ticket explaining the situation, and got an automated response that did not target my problem. Upon wanting to reply, the website does not work at all! Unable to reply or create a new ticket was quite disappointing.
