    We took a Viking cruise through the Panama Canal

    We took a Viking cruise through the Panama Canal and found it to be a good experience. The ship was very nice, and we appreciated the calm environment without kids on board. The service and food were both quite good, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. I decided to give four stars, though, since I found out the trip was discounted two months before we left, which was disappointing after we’d already paid full price. Viking did not offer any onboard credit when I asked about it, which felt unfair. A note for future travelers: I prefer to book flights independently instead of through cruise lines.

    I bought upgraded airline seats

    I bought upgraded airline seats because my husband is big. Despite paying for them and being promised aisle seats in business or first class, we ended up in economy. I am still waiting to get my refund.
