Velocity supported my brother well during their move. Before his marriage, all of us siblings shared the same house. Afterward, he and his wife became busy with work, and they had to shift to New Jersey for job reasons. They asked me to manage finding a moving company. After checking reviews online, I chose Velocity movers. Since my brother’s wedding was only a year ago, they didn’t have too many things to transport. Velocity gave a fair price that was so affordable there wasn’t any point in negotiating. Andrew and his wife relied on me to handle this, so I picked Velocity. The team arrived when promised, and they worked carefully while packing and loading. No items went missing or got damaged. The move was handled properly, and my brother was pleased I picked Velocity moving & storage.

We decided to try Velocity for our move and I was quite happy with their service. Three movers and a manager arrived in a big van. They finished the job much quicker than we expected. Their team had friendly attitudes, worked efficiently, and were careful with our things. They brought a very large cabinet up a narrow staircase and put together some Ikea furniture. There are many mediocre companies around, but based on my experience, they are good. We will keep using them and strongly recommend them.

My first wife is moving to the other side of the country. "I know she has a lot of things to bring!" She's my ex, but there's no need to make her feel awkward about it. The second truck arrived the next day, and Greg and Ben were awesome. These guys were so friendly and really knew their stuff. We had a great time laughing while they packed everything up.

My recent experience with VELOCITY

My recent experience with VELOCITY during my move from New York to Texas was not what I hoped for. Unfortunately, some of my furniture got damaged, and I also lost important boxes filled with memories. I reached out to the BBB to share my experience with Velocity. They replied to the BBB saying they would give me $500, but I never received any funds. I tried calling their office multiple times, but the manager, Oliver, was always unavailable or in a meeting. AVOID VELOCITY, THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE.

The company repeatedly tried to persuade me that no better deal was available elsewhere by constantly reaching out. This felt dishonest. The service was overpriced, items were damaged, and the customer support was really poor. The whole experience seemed chaotic and lacked professionalism.
