This trip was quite a good experience.
This trip was quite a good experience. I had hoped to see the animals everyone talks about, and I did. Bears fishing for salmon, orcas, whales feeding with bubble nets, otters, sea lions, seals, eagles, and puffins. Kayaking in Glacier Bay and watching Marjorie calve was unforgettable. Skiff tours and hiking in the wild filled up the time too. We chose a small ship, and with just 36 passengers, it was perfect. I got to know both the passengers and the crew. The room was nice, with a king bed, private bath, and enough space for everything. Every morning started with the smell of bacon, and there were many options to choose from. The meals were smaller than on big cruise ships, which I guess is normal. There were always three options for dinner, but I wouldn't say the food was as good as I had hoped. However, the cocktails and desserts made up for that. We’re now booking the same ship for a trip to Hawaii! Looking forward to it!
