Mel Heeran is a superb biology tutor with a solid educational background and lots of experience. Mel explains topics in a clear and straightforward manner. He’s a professional with great knowledge of the maths involved in biology. Mel is great and now that I’m in my degree program, I’d definitely return to him if needed. Mel can also teach university students biology at a high level. Mel has really impacted my life and I’ll always remember his help. Overall, a fantastic experience with Mel.

Shelly has been a great tutor - she is positive and supportive and has helped my son gain more confidence for his A level Psychology mocks. She explains things really well and knows how to teach, understand, and go over the tough topics my son had problems with. I think Charlie is really good. My daughter had lessons with him for a while. He teaches with lots of energy and is very committed. Lessons are balanced, and he helps to consolidate and share knowledge. Charlie is always positive and encouraging. My daughter feels more confident for her exams now. Tutor Hunt is quite costly. They take 33% of what you pay the tutor for each lesson, which feels like a lot. This means tutors have to charge more to make their usual fee. Tutor Hunt seems more focused on their profit rather than the tutors' earnings, which is not great. There are other places like firsttutors (with 2 t's) that might be better options to find tutors.
