After completing the iPEC
After completing the iPEC Coaching program, I feel compelled to share my experience for the benefit of others considering this path. While iPEC presents itself as a gateway to coaching certification, my journey with them has been disappointing and marked by several shortcomings.
One significant aspect is the high cost of the program. I found out that there are other credible coaching programs that offer similar certification at much lower prices. It's crucial for potential clients to explore more affordable options that can deliver comparable value.
Throughout the training, I faced months of insufficient instruction, which left me feeling stuck. Despite this, I had to participate in mentor calls, which often felt intimidating and unproductive. Many of my peers shared similar concerns about the mentors' behavior, which added to the negative experience.
Moreover, iPEC relies heavily on peer-to-peer learning, which, while useful in moderation, shouldn't be the primary mode of instruction. The lack of involvement from iPEC staff in providing substantial training made me feel unprepared and unsupported.
Given my experience, I urge individuals to consider alternative coaching programs that offer comprehensive training and ongoing support. It's essential to choose an organization that prioritizes your growth and provides a positive learning environment.
While it's disheartening to share these experiences, I believe it's important for others to make informed decisions about their coaching journey. I had high hopes for iPEC Coaching initially, but their inadequate training and unprofessional mentorship have made it clear that there are better options out there.
