My experience with Motivate MD

My experience with Motivate MD has been truly great. They provided me with guidance and resources that led to my acceptance into 6 schools, both MD and DO programs! They have a big database of medical students who can assist with each part of the application process depending on which systems you are applying through (AMCAS, AACOMAS, or TMDSAS). I started from scratch with Natalie, and she guided me through my personal statement, activity descriptions, secondaries, etc. She was very important to my application process and helped me express my passions and showcase my personality through my essays! I didn't feel pressured to follow a standard mold for my application, and Natalie really encouraged me to write about what felt true to who I was (and clearly it worked out). I can't speak highly enough of her!! The interview prep resources were also very helpful in getting personalized feedback from medical students. I used Motivate MD until the very end of my cycle, even asking for help on how to send thank you and update letters. If you're unsure about using Motivate MD's services, go for it! I genuinely feel like I got my money's worth with all the help and advice I received, and my application wouldn't have stood out as much without them.

I was a pre-med student with a 499 MCAT and some conduct issues. Becca reassured me that this wasn't the end and we could figure it out together. She gave me hope. Becca was amazing!! Anytime I had trouble or wasn't sure about how the program worked, Becca always picked up the phone fast to help. Now I’ve got 3 DO interviews and 2 MD interviews, with two acceptances so far. Motivate MD has a great group of doctors who are really dedicated to helping pre-med students reach their goals. Big thanks to Melissa, she was my support throughout this journey! I’m so glad I found Motivate MD! The program is really affordable and all the doctors on the Motivate MD team know exactly what admissions committees look for in applicants when reading personal statements and experiences!

I searched for a while to find a service that wouldn't break the bank, and this one fit the bill. They were quick to respond and assisted me in finding the help I needed. With students from various schools to choose from, I picked someone from one of my preferred schools. She was both nice and gave constructive feedback, ultimately helping me secure acceptance to that school. If I wasn't satisfied with a particular editor, I could switch them out for someone else. Overall, they addressed all my questions, concerns, and needs throughout the entire process. If I require assistance with residency applications, I'd definitely consider using them again.

My encounter with Motivate MD was really good. The editors, especially Emily, were nice. They were always reachable via email, the review time was quick, and they assisted me with questions beyond just the essays! I tried the mock interview service to prepare for my medical school interviews. I was quite happy with the advice I got and will surely apply the suggestions they gave me. There were some errors I didn't know I was making in my answers. I am grateful my mock interviewer highlighted them so I can get better! I purchased the two-interview package and can't wait for the next one!

I'm really glad I tried Motivate MD for mock interviews. Without it, I doubt I'd get into med school. Madihah and Alejandro helped a lot, preparing me for any question. Their feedback after each session was super helpful. Becca was great at setting up interviews on short notice. I'd totally suggest Motivate MD to get into med school on the first try!

Really cheap and gave good feedback! I felt stuck with my personal statement but my reviewer helped to give me topic ideas while also editing my essay in a way that maximized my character count and actually gave me more room to elaborate on my experiences.
