In November 2023, I invested over
In November 2023, I invested over £500 in a set of two Ahsoka sabers from Saberpro. Unfortunately, upon arrival, one of the sabers did not function properly. The internal electrical components responsible for sound and light were severely damaged, with split wires and two wires not even connected. I promptly reached out to Saberpro, only to be informed that they needed three days to address the issue. However, this response was reiterated multiple times over the course of a month.
To my dismay, the resolution process took an unexpected turn. Instead of offering a replacement or refund for the damaged item, which should have been the case given that it arrived in a defective state (as their website falsely claims otherwise), Saberpro opted for a warranty case. Much to my disbelief, they sent out the components for me to repair the saber myself. This approach was both impractical and unreasonable, considering my lack of qualifications to disassemble, reassemble, or fix such intricate devices.
Adding insult to injury, the company now plans to send me instructions on how to repair the electrical components in the saber independently. This level of customer service is truly disgusting. When a product arrives in a faulty condition, one would expect the company to take the appropriate and ethical course of action – either replacing the entire item or facilitating a refund. Unfortunately, Saberpro fell short of these expectations. Regrettably, based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this company when considering future saber purchases.
