I wish I read reviews here before I bought something on poshmark. This company is scam. Item arrived damaged, seller request them to return my money, but they request 100 of pictures including a shipping label. Don't buy anything on this platform.

My interaction with this site has been utterly disappointing and concerning. Despite their purported legitimacy, it's evident that they operate as a scam. Initially, they required a deposit to initiate selling, but now they refuse to return it. Moreover, their customer support is virtually non-existent, leaving me stranded and out of pocket. They exclusively accept cash to evade potential refund delays, further adding to the suspicion. Despite my efforts to communicate and resolve the issue, I've been consistently ignored and left without recourse. I'm now left with no option but to pursue a resolution through American Express, hoping to recover my funds. I strongly advise against engaging with this platform to prevent falling victim to their deceitful practices. Beware and steer clear to safeguard your time, money, and sanity.

Recently joined Poshmark, and in about 20 minutes, I managed to sell my first item. However, things took a turn when Poshmark requested my banking information. After providing my credit card details, they quickly tried to make a cash advance on the card. Thankfully, my bank detected fraudulent activity and rejected the transaction. Poshmark's response was to suggest using another account. Due to this concerning experience, I've decided to cancel my involvement with them, and I strongly advise others to be cautious due to potential fraud issues.

The platform appears rife with scammers and hackers, compounded by the absence of a direct phone contact, forcing reliance on unsatisfactory email communication. My urgent issue with a hacker received a lackluster response from Prachi, the representative. Rather than addressing the problem, I felt pressured to do her job. Unfortunately, subsequent communication was non-existent. Resultantly, I opted to delete my account due to the subpar experience.

Responses feel mechanical and unoriginal (are they just copy-pasted? or some bot?) and often miss the point. It may take several attempts to get a useful answer with concrete steps, if ever. Being a top-rated seller (a Posh Ambassador) doesn't seem to offer any benefits for customer support.
