Intelius claims to be the most reliable for background checks, but they made a big mistake with my recent search. The arrest info for Thomas M Crooks from Bethel Park, PA, was supposed to match name and address, yet the arrest was in 1991 in New Jersey, before this person was born. If Intelius is considered the best for accuracy, I wouldn't waste any money on their services. Also, Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old shot by the U.S. Secret Service on 7/13/24, is easy to verify through any news source.

this company practices fraud

this company practices fraud and defective practices. i agreed to pay the initial .99 but after i was about to get the report it jumped to 3.99. a waste of my time. i promise you this is the second time the same happened to me. i promise i will never use them again.

This company used to be more affordable. Now, they charge a lot. They billed me again after only 22 days. The info they give is sometimes wrong or incomplete.

I clicked on a "no-cost reverse look-up" link - not linked to Intelius - and found myself on their webpage. I quickly left - and now I'm stuck with a pop-up every half minute. There is zero chance I would ever work with this company again - it wasn't free, and they won't allow me to reach out without providing more personal data. That is shady and wrong on so many levels. From the moment I choose I don't want to engage with a business - and I haven’t given them my details or signed up for anything - I shouldn't have to deal with them ever again.

the details given are not accurate and the report made is not helpful. Also, you have to pay extra for the downloable report version. Total scam. Waste of spending $30.
