I stoped using Gov Assist after I changed my mind, even tho I had alreay paid. When I asked for a return, they treated me nice and quick, very fair. Simple way to get your passport redone. Had troble with my picture uploading, but they fixed it by hand. We got our passports just a week after sending in the pics.

Overpriced and not helpful
I wanted to review a passport. The real government web site offers the option of renewal by mail or online renewal. What is not clear is that the online renewal is actually a separate non-government company that charges exorbitant rates to act as a middleman. The claim is that it is faster and easier, but I found it neither fast nor easy. The application was not submitted and they still charged my credit card.
