United Karting is definitely a top place for high-speed

United Karting is definitely a top place for high-speed go-cart racing on the East Coast, located in Hanover, MD. My kids, aged 11 and 12, participated in the United Karting Academy; a 4-hour class focused on safety, driving, and performance. At the same time, there were two other classes: one for younger drivers (slower carts) and another for adult drivers. The Training and Track Staff were amazing, very professional. Safety was clearly their main concern! They made sure everyone felt comfortable with the go-carts before getting in. Before driving, the instructors (3-4 staff members per group) explained the track and the best "lines" to follow, constantly emphasizing safety over speed!! The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. I was really happy with their attention to detail when it came to safety and how well they managed the course. My kids had a fantastic time and are excited to join the Sunday League sessions. All in all, it was a wonderful and safe experience. They made sure my kids and all the other drivers had a great time. I highly suggest checking out United Karting Academy and their facilities.

The workers at this place are amazing!

The workers at this place are amazing! My son forgot his new AirPods in the go-kart after we finished. More than 30 minutes later, we came back to the track, not expecting to find them. As soon as we arrived, without us saying anything, one of the workers walked up to us, holding my son's AirPods and smiling. We really want to thank him for his kindness and for reminding us that there are still good people out there. Thank you for a fun experience and for the valuable reminder.

I have nice memories of visiting this place with the Evening

I have nice memories of visiting this place with the Evening Star paper truck. We used to earn rewards like subscriptions and more. Our favorite reward was the go-kart tickets. If we were very lucky, we got both go-kart tickets and a KFC meal. It was a blast. I brought my children here later and they enjoyed it too (they’re grown now). I drive past here sometimes and it always makes me smile. I hope nothing has changed. I like the updated go-karts!

I don't often write reviews, but I had to for this company. The workers were amazing. Really on point. They were friendly and really quick. I was really amazed by how they cared about safety and kept an eye on everything on the course. Definitely a great and safe time for my mom, daughters, and husband. They made it really fun for all of us.

Absolutely love it here

Absolutely love it here! The karting experience is both thrilling and affordable. Having a dedicated kartway is fantastic, eliminating distractions from other attractions. The only wish is for the Bladensburg location to be open, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment.

Situated conveniently off the highway, this go-karting spot exceeded expectations. The staff's patience, friendliness, and helpfulness added to the positive experience. Despite a relatively small track, the affordability was a highlight, with a fantastic offer of 8 laps for just $9 per ticket, setting it apart from competitors. While the heat limited our stay, resulting in only a few laps, the overall enjoyment was evident. Future visits to the area might prompt us to return for a quick, budget-friendly thrill. To top it off, the presence of an ice cream truck in the lot offered a delightful way to cool down after the adrenaline rush of the go-karting adventure.

I found it somewhat overpriced

While the venue had its charm, I found it somewhat overpriced. Spending $50, we got access to go-karts, bumper boats, and a handful of game tokens. Unfortunately, the go-kart track lacked extended straightaways, limiting chances for overtaking opponents. Despite the cute atmosphere, the overall value felt a bit lacking, and more options for thrilling experiences could have justified the expense. Consider other entertainment options that offer better value for a similar cost.

The company seems okay, but I reckon it's kinda pricey. We spent $50 on tickets for go karts, bumper boats, and a few game tokens. The go kart track didn't have many straightaways, so passing was tricky.
