I was concerned that I might have chosen the wrong amount, but the person I spoke with was very helpful in adjusting it. They also gave me a good suggestion—paying the newer balances first instead of the older ones to reduce interest. I’ve always done it the other way around. I’m going to give this method a try, as it seems to make more sense. Paying the newer balances first and leaving the older ones for later will likely help me save money in the long run.
