SCAM
Fluent is, without a doubt, the worst company we've ever had to deal with. Their customer service and resolution departments are dreadful. Each time we call, we're forced to endure 45 minutes or more of hold time. The representatives are condescending, unhelpful, and nearly impossible to understand. Our equipment has never functioned properly since installation. We've abandoned the doorbell altogether and switched to a much better company. The only solution offered is to pay for a technician to assess the issue, which, in my opinion, is poor business practice. After reading numerous reviews, it's clear this is a common problem. The company's communication is severely lacking. Payments are automatically drafted, yet there's no communication when a payment is missed for reasons unknown to me. We recently received a text message, two years after the supposed "missed payment," warning of collections if it isn't paid. There was no email or phone call at the time of the alleged missed payment. We tried to cancel the service after being told by the financial department that we were on a month-to-month contract. However, after being transferred, we were informed our contract had been renewed for another 3 years! There are no reminders sent about the impending contract expiration and renewal. This company is a scam! Do not use Fluent. Be wary of their contract termination clause, which requires a written termination request to be mailed 30 days before the contract expires. If I could, I would rate them zero stars.
