We really like the watch! David wears it with pride. Recently, at our daughter’s house in the country where we had a family get together, we lost track of David. It was the first time both I and our daughter logged in to our Tranquil app at once. We were delighted that it was easy to use both cell phones at the same time to locate him. (she has an iphone & I have an android so we had different maps). David really appreciates the call feature. He’s forgotten how to use a cell phone, so it’s a big help for him to press that SOS button on his watch & know that it will connect him to one of his family. What a big relief! Also, he doesn’t need to remember how to end calls or accidentally hang up, as we set it to disconnect by itself when we hang up on the other end. Thanks to Tranquil technicians for great service and for making this useful tech for our loved ones with dementia!!

We bought the tracker with the longer battery

We bought the tracker with the longer battery life for our mum who had Alzheimer’s and lived far away. It worked really well, giving us a lot of peace of mind about her location. It clipped onto her house keys and was smaller than most car keys. Any small issues we had were quickly handled through the online chat or an email to the team at techsilver. Most of the problems were due to satellite signals, not the tracker itself. The service was great, and the staff were patient and understanding, knowing the concerns we had. We set it to 1-minute updates, which worked best. We set up virtual zones, which were helpful, as we got alerted if mum went outside her usual places and could call to check on her. We used it for a couple of years until mum moved into a care home.

I used a tracker keyring for my dad who has dementia. It really helped in keeping track of where he went or had been, especially with the history feature to check if he was out the previous day. It wasn't always fully accurate, especially when he was in a car for a short time, but they do warn you about that, so if you read the info they give you, you're prepared. It was nice to be able to have multiple people logged in at once, so if one of us was busy, the others could still see where he was. They were quick to help when I asked to cancel the subscription since we didn’t need it anymore. I would suggest this for anyone wanting to track someone with dementia who wants to stay independent as long as they can.

The device was a great help while my husband could go for walks alone. Now he has a carer, so he's never alone. Out of all the devices I tried, the Techsilver was the best. I would highly recomemd it. Thankyou.
