The overall experience was really good. The instructions, the cost, and the details were spot on as advertised. It fit my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek without the need to remove the muffler. The kit included all the parts and some cool hardware to help pull bolts through. There was this wire spring that worked pretty well, very simple to use. A week after installing, I checked the bolts and they stayed tight. The videos helped give me the confidence to do it myself and save money instead of going to the dealer just to fasten 4 bolts. Super easy, would purchase again!

Etrailer gave me the correct info, noting that Ram 1500 models such as the Dayton edition, Rumble-Bee, and SRT-10 have ground effects that could block the hitch, so that part has to be taken off!

Great company, sketchy shipping. eTrailer is great, the products and support are excellent. My only complaint is with shipping. USPS is by far the worst of the major carriers. For example, the part that I ordered from eTrailer was a bracket that needed to be welded to my RV. I placed the order and the estimated delivery date was 4/29 so I scheduled the welder to come out on 5/2 to allow a few days for delays. USPS sent delay alerts twice and the package eventualy got delivered on 5/9 so I had to reschedule the welder multiple times and postpone my RV trip for a week. Personally, I'd rather pay for FedEx ground than free USPS shipping because FedEx and UPS are generally much more reliable.

After watching a bunch of YouTube vids on hitches, I bombarded the eTrailer team with tons of questions to figure out which hitch would work best for me. They were super helpful and offered different perspectives, which was great. I feel like I ordered the perfect hitch for my needs. The order was processed and shipped really fast. The hitch came in two separate boxes from the same place. One box made it to me in four days without a scratch, but the other box took a wild trip around the East Coast thanks to UPS. It finally showed up about a week and a half later, looking rough, but the hitch inside was fine and all parts were there. Can’t blame eTrailer for UPS's mishap. So far, I’m really happy with the hitch. Installation was a breeze and I love how it keeps my truck bed clean. Will update in 10 months after some use.
